ok so i finished randomizing things, have ntr and a plugin folder and inside a folder with the title id. inside that is is the .plg file. where do i put my compressed randomized files? what patch folder? (10. You're done! You can either merge these files in with a ROM if you're using HANS (back up the ROM if you're doing this just in case) or place the files in your patch folder if you're using NTR. Enjoy your randomized adventure!

Depends on the game. In the root of your SD card make a folder with the name one of the following (case sensitive):

Birthright for Birthright
Conquest for Conquest
fefatesSE for the Special Edition.

Then place your files in that folder.

Use BootNTR Selector and let it update to 2.7, and choose 3.3 or 3.2. I believe 3.4 doesn't like Fates or Awakening as people were having issues running the same sex marriage patch.

turns out i think i was just using regular bootntr. anyway what do i do with the selector thing? how do i choose the stuff

edit: wait so i chose the first option and it loads as regular fates. i think the gay patch worked but how do i get it to the conquest folder on the root of my sd card? (btw the directory said the plugin folder) i hope you can understand what im saying lol

You make the Conquest folder on the root of your SD card. You place your files in that Conquest folder. If you see a green flash when you load the game, the plugin worked.

i did make the conquest folder, and the game did flash green before the game started but it isnt randomized. i chose 3.3 btw

Do the randomizer again with clean files. Make sure you include the same-sex marriage patch stuff when you go to randomize it. Did you place your files in the Conquest folder? What game are you using? (I would assume Conquest).

clean files i did do it in. i did place all my files in the conquest folder in the root (randomized). and i put the .plg file in SD/plugins/titleidthing/file here

If it doesn't work, then this is something that thane98 can attempt to fix and/or help you with. Are you sure that you're putting the randomized files in the Conquest folder? Did you check the use European option when you started the randomizer?

i was going to attempt and start another save and see if anything happens, but my 3ds charging port is busted and it ran out of its last charge. atm waiting for charging cradle

It is recommended to start a new save file.

ok lol it works. it works fine besides some known bugs and that some models are weird like instead of leo being izana after the battle it was arthur but its ok.

edit: also i dont know if its just me but the no button is just blank, no big deal tho

edit: i'm playing randomized conquest and birthright people arent randomized besides azura and kaze

edit: dont know how many times i've edited this but i have a problem. atm its chapter 3 and when im about to enter battle to see hinoka and sakura, it says error power off and stuff. what should i do about it?

ok lol it works. it works fine besides some known bugs and that some models are weird like instead of Leo being Izana after the battle it was Arthur but it's ok.

2: That's the case for randomizing one path. You have to have all 3 paths available and select "All Paths" when randomizing to get changes on both sides.

When you say chapter 4 of conquest, do you mean the chapter labelled 4 or the fourth chapter after the path split? Either way check the OP for initial troubleshooting, then ask again if you can't fix it.

how do u randomize all paths? only have conquest, do u have to purchase others to select all paths?

That option's for the special edition only (cart or CIA), since it has all 3 paths on one cart.
