NTR is already fixed with BootNTR Selector 2.5

Yes, but you won't be able to go back to 11.2 without a NAND backup.

Not true, Luma patches out the downgrade checks so you should be able to downgrade from 11.3 to whatever using sysupdater. Of course, since that only works if you have a9lh+Luma in the first place there is no real point now unless you really need to boot the homebrew launcher before the payloads get fixed.

Not quite; Luma3ds prevents the nfirms from being updated when the rest of the system is updated. Also [will need verification] the system is able to run with the altered nfirms [a9lh] as they patch out the sig. checks

Edit. I see what your saying. The downgrade checks on the titles are removed by using the nfirms from 10.0 I believe

Luma also patches out the downgrade checks added in 11.0 which allows downgrading to 9.2, 2.1, or whatever from firmware 11.x. Check the Luma source for patchTitleInstallMinVersionChecks .

And yes, I downgraded the emunand from 11.1 to 10.3 on my main a9lh system (back when it looked like BootNTR wasn't going to be updated) so I know it works. That is assuming 11.3 didn't break the anti-dg patches.

The ultimate driving machine.....that doesn't have unnecessary O2 filters designed to cause a check engine light fiasco to waste your money.

And carburetors, but people like those.

Did you really really get rid of your RxTools+emu SD?
yeah gone now it's running A9LH+LUMA

Did that happen less than an hour ago? Or did you mean fixed for NTR 3.4P4?

Well this is his post on 2.5 being out "Nanquitas, Today at 5:34 AM". Note that the BootNTR/NTRSelector version is a completely different thing than the NTR version. NTR 3.2/3.3 should still work on 11.3 with the latest BootNTR Selector version.

We should thank Nintendo for fixing rxtools.

I had a couple of thoughts when I read through reddit.
1) When sighax is out, you can decrypt any 3ds nand without xorpads. When you have a decrypted nand, you can downgrade any title you want. All we need to do for future downgrading is getting a hardmod. And downgrade to 9.2 (or 11.2 although I think 11.3 is better)
2) Because safehax was fixed, we need a completely new arm9 Exploit. And remember the last new one was released 2014. So I guess we can forget downgrade until sighax is out.

That Dell data breach is worse than people probably realize....
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
When I worked for Dell we had access to data about military contracts and addresses for high ranking people.

I personally handled a call from the second highest person at Raytheon. That call bothered me a lot... The guy was nice and smart what bothered me was the way management basically just blew him off instead of going the extra mile to help him.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
In the end that call ended up costing Dell millions in lost contracts with Raytheon, and really the issue could have been solved for like 450 bucks lol

sometimes I wonder why anyone would ever buy mega man x legacy collection 2
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I always thought that capcom shuffled the games in these collection, but apparently they are all in chronological order, which makes legacy collection 2 worthless
