Use Hourglass9 and Backup your NAND. and yep, it's possible from 11.2.X

Thanks. That seems to work, but I would suggest that anyone who wishes to do this read this guide:

https://3ds.guide/installing-arm9loaderhax.html

Hourglass9 is not installed with Luma3DS by default... you've got to download it, rename it "start_Hourglass9.bin", then put it in luma/payloads on your SD card. After that, just hold start while booting your system and it works like a charm. (Dumping your NAND takes a while, though.)

Or use FBI and select "Dump NAND" (i never used that)
I don't know the differences beetween NAND.bin and NANDmin.bin
And yup, make sure you put arm9loaderhax in NAND Root using FBI.

Got 6 3ds. Updated to 11.3 . Every were on 11.2 no dns, freeshop still works fine ! The rest i dont mind for now.

Was kinda worried since ive done around 30 console but everything looks fine. My customers dont need any payload since they can still play and get stuff from freeshop

Is RxTools really dead? Couldn't you just update the NVER files or is every part of the system checking the NFIRM? I left a 9.2 3DS on RxTools and had access to 11.2, flawlessly, barring the internet app.

I have A9LH and I guess Luma, I also installed a custom home menu theme, do I just simply update my firmware or do I go to luma updater, also, do I remove the custom theme?

rxtools is dead. It was dead months ago, you should consider updating/ changing to some other cfw.

so this is interesting.... yesterday my 3ds received a update out of the blue, at it was for nothing, it didn't change my firmware..... And I already Identified that it wasn't because of missing titles.... A misfire maybe? I'll restore to the bazzare update one, and if the sum check is different, I'll tell you guys immediately.

I have multiple systems. I just like having a system that didn't have an added file in my CNAND that might look suspicious if I were to sell the system (after SD-less) to someone who might send it to Nintendo.
Like I said, I went from 9.2 to 11.2 without the NFIRM changes, so I wondered if 11.3 could be circumvented in the same way.

Many thing right now check NFIRM such as newer games, etc. It can be fix of course. But from the look of Corbenik, I think it will be hard work. ReiNAND too.
if you don't want files on CTRNAND, just go Luma3DS + menuhax instead. Atleast it will work with 11.3.

I have multiple systems. I don't mind RxTools; I have a A9+L system, so I'm not really concerned. Besides, I think it's funny to keep RxTools when everyone tells you to get rid of it.....I also have poor taste in humor.

Wrong typing, I mean, If you don't want a file on CTRNAND.
