Homebrew Phantom FBI on sysNAND 2.1, want to remove

Haven't touched my sysNAND 2.1 in a while, anyway I go in today and I find FBI installed on it as well as a buncha 0-block blank DsiWare in system settings, which I deleted. But I can't get rid of FBI. To clarify this is NOT an injected H&S instance, the H&S app is intact and working fine.

It's a case of FBI just popping up in my menu. I want to uninstall it but I can't uninstall it with itself, it blackscreens on launch. I would have tried to instead inject a proper FBI into H&S app but Hourglass9 will NOT let me select the .app file, yes I triplechecked my console model and region.

It is also present in my sysNAND backup, since I replaced the old one after I "locked down" the firmware's settings so I don't have a copy of sysNAND without the FBI anymore.

Any ideas?

would ctrtransfer 9.2.0 be a option? then update officially to 11.2 again

EDIT: Just do a 9.2.0 ctrtransfer and update to 11.2 and update all your payloads and stuff like that

I'm on 2.1 because:

1. I was on 4.5 and that was ancient anyway and unused so I didn't really care much about the differences between either
2. This is an O3DS which was always compatible with 2.1 so I'm not worried
3. I never use sysnand because I have an up-to-date emuNAND with all my crap

I am not at any step in the guide. I have A9LH fully installed and an emuNAND set up with 11.2 which I actively play on, I'm just concerned of this foreign app being stuck on sysNAND. Is there any A9LH launcher that will boot "clean" with no sig patches and maybe the firmware will detect the unsigned app and remove it itself?

does fbi appear in your software management screen? if it does delete it from there

It doesn't appear in the software management screen or anywhere else in installed software, addons etc.. If I start FBI with the Kecleon version of Luma and disable region patches, it displays a screen about being unable to set the CPU clock and to press any button to exit. That's as far as I've been able to make FBI functional.

Another note, yes SysNAND and EmuNAND are unlinked and are each using their own folder.

I can think of ONE thing that might have happened: Luma has an option to hold R to boot SysNAND FIRM from EmuNAND or something, I've tried it before out of curiosity but all I ever got was a blackscreen crash. Does anyone know anything about that option's use? It's the only time SysNAND came anywhere near to mixing anything up with EmuNAND, I never used FBI in any way on SysNAND.

Is my only way to do this through health and safety inject on hourglass9? I can dump the .app but if I try to inject it, the file browser only ever lets me select the dump I made, it refuses to scroll over the injectable FBI 2.4.2 file. It WILL do so if I try to do the same on emuNAND but not for sysNAND.

when i installed fbi i did it thru homebrew launcher ran the 3dsx version then used that to install the cia of fbi

Where do I go with Godmode9 to check if it's installed on CTRNAND?

UPDATE:

Progress using Godmode9 I found the folder under titles and deleted it. The result is that FBI now no longer has a 3D logo and intro sound and exclusively blackscreens when launched but the icon is still present in the menu. Any ideas on how to remove it?

UPDATE 2:

Upon also deleting the icon cache file from the SD, FBI disappeared completely. Now to see if I should have any concerns about the entry still being in title.db...

You shouldn't have simply deleted the files, that's not a clean way, which I assume you were aiming for. What I don't understand is, why this bothers you. Your SysNAND on 2.1 is not, in any way, genuine. I am pretty sure your console was manufactured long after 2.1 was shipped on consoles.

I'd rather recommend you restore (keep A9LH) an old NAND backup.

Also, GM9 can do the H&S injection, too, and you may have more success with it. You need to grab the latest nightly (link below). Mount the FBI CIA, select the first content, then select H&S inject.

You can just flash your emuNAND to your sysNAND.
