OP
I looked up this error and didn't get any good results. So now I'll post this for help! I was using TWLoader when I got a white screen when it launches a rom. This happend for the 5th time and I decided to force shut down my 3ds because I couldn't do anything else. Now, whenever I turn my 3ds on, it gives me this error:

An exception occured

Processor: ARM11 (core 1)
Exception Type: ErrDisp

EDIT: Now the error won't even show and just leaves me at a black screen, so I can't even show you whole thing.
I do know these things however:

Hourglass9 and Luma's menus still work so that can help! I just don't know what I'm doing so I need help
It created a crash dump thats supposedly in a folder called dumps in my SD Card, but I found no folder.
Every time I launched it before the error wouldn't show, it created a new dump

I can still not get to the home menu. Please help me!

Old 3DS
SDHC Card
I use CFW and Luma
I use soundhax to launch homebrew (now I usually just use a cia)

you've soft bricked, restore a nand or install ctr9.2 by renaming hourglass 3ds file

im not very versed in the scene anymore but this is the advice i see given most often

What? Sorry, I am an idiot who just follows instructions. Is there a thread that tells me how to do that? Or can you tell me? I'm sorry

That will work but you'll lose whatever you've done to the 3ds since you made it
Wat? Oh come on! It took me weeks to download all that stuff! Ugh! Whatever. Thanks for the help everyone! You saved me from total tragedy! :)

WAIT! Did you try disabling luma ErrDisp patches? Press select, and make sure ErrDisp or UnitInfo patches are disabled.
Also, does the patches mean in dev featurers its not checked?

Because if thats so, It was not checked

That's my fault, the error didn't pop up with a quick google search, I found a similar error in the TWLoader thread back on page 112. I'm sorry for any inconvenience I may have caused you.

Ahhh! Guys, help! My 3ds just bricked again and I dunno what to do!

After the first brick, I tried reinstalling all my cias and then turning off parental controls. Once I finished, I attempted to update sysnand by overwriting it with everything ready so if it bricked again, I wouldn't have to reinstall everything. Once I updated it, I rebooted my console and it remained on a black screen. I tried restoring my 3ds like stated above, but no luck! HELP!

Someone please reply as soon as possible

OK, so you're not screwed.

Have you tried deleting your extdata(sdroot: Nintendo 3DS/32 Characters/32 Characters/extdata/00000000/0000008f(for USA console)?
Nope, I'll try that. Do I just delete the folder in 0000008f? Is there anything else I need to do?

Yeah just delete the 0000008f folder, reinsert SD card, boot and it should create folders and files for your Home Menu onto your SD card. If that doesn't work you can ctrtransfer to 9.2 and then update via system settings(as you said your NANDmin.bin isn't restoring?).
