Hi, I've read about this but I couldn't find the answer I need so I though maybe someone here can help me.

My ps3 is a slim 250gb, has rebug 4.81 and I'd like to change the hdd for a new one of 1tb. At the moment, everyone just say "change the hdd, ps3 will format it and ask you for the SAME firmware", ok, easy.. but what's the correct way to backup my data? save datas... trophies (if possible). Do I have to backup one by one the save data? memcards of ps1 and ps2..themes?. Much people tell that using the "transfer" aplication that ps3 has itself will solve this, but many others say that doesn't backup trophies or protected save data, that's why I don't really have an exactly solution. I hope someone could help me, will really appreciate it.

Thanks for reading!

So... after less than a decade, may I ask how? Lol. I'm asking this coz my lens doesn't work anymore, and my cfw still needs a legit bdrom to fire up a game (not all games tho). So yeah before I swap my habib cfw to rebug-nobd, I should at least backup my TLOU saves which I treasure.
