I keep getting error code 007-6106 when trying to update pokémon bank. I get an error on both the eshop and from the Home Menu update screens.

I usually fix this issue by downloading the update from the freeshop but it seems that it is not yet available there, for some reason.

Please help!

Did you download it from the freeshop?

Try to run Tiksweep and try to download the update again. If this doesn't work, try to delete PokéBank and its ticket (via FBI), and then try to download PokéBank.

Tiksweep won't do anything for it, and won't deleting it's ticket make me lose my subscription to bank?

No, your subscription is tied to your NNID, the ticket simply allows you run the title. Feel free to make a NAND backup before you delete the title+ticket.

Now I got it installed, but when I go into pokémon bank, it will finish loading my NNID and then give me 006-1608.

Here's what someone else did a few weeks ago to solve this problem:

There are two entries for Pokemon Bank in the "Titles" section of FBI, but it seems like there are _three_ tickets:
0004000E000C9B00
00040000000C9B00
0004000D000C9B00

The top two tickets are each associated with a Pokemon Bank entry under the Titles section, but the bottom one isn't. I was using the "Delete Title And Ticket" option from the Titles section, so I was only deleting two of the three tickets.

Here's what I did:
1) Delete the two Pokemon Bank entries from the Titles section
2) Delete all three tickets from the Tickets section
3) Restart the DS (I don't know if this is required, but I did it)
4) Connect to the eshop, and redownload Pokemon Bank (and the update)

After I did that, I was able to connect to the Pokemon Bank without errors.

This worked for me! Thank you very much!

It also seems to be unable to detect the save files from earlier firmwares, so looks like I gotta update or install cfw!

After you update you need to go in game and save again, then run pokebank. Same thing happens when I import an older save, until I re-save in realtime.
