I am planning on getting a Nintendo Switch (Have it reserved at my local game store :) ) and am thinking about where to put it. I have a wooden entertainment cart in my Apartment living room with 3 systems on it: X-Box One, PS3 Slim (I think it is the "slim" version, but not the "super slim" version), and Wii U which is placed vertically. I know I need to move one of the systems, but not sure which one... Is it safe to put either my X-Box One or Slim PS3 on my floor, which is carpeted? Thoughts appreciated :)

I have my TV on a separate Entertainment stand. My Cable Modem/Router is behind the tv, cable box on shelf below tv, and my PS4 on shelf below that. I will take pictures of current setup when I get home today :)

I think the nicest is to have all consoles vertical in a row, from largest to smallest. So Xbox, then Wii U, then Gamepad, then Switch, then 3DS.
