I don't know, but I suggest using freeShop instead, it's more user friendly and has more features.

Afaik, CIAngel only create a ticket of the game, which is about several hundreds kilobytes. When you go to eshop to download the game with the ticket installed, it will says how big the game is and whether you have enough free space on your SD.

And Freeshop is much more user friendly. It allows you to download the game + update + DLC with 1 click and also tells you about the space needed.

No it downloads the game too. It can install it directly or make a cia, which freeshop cannot do.

Of course, freeshop downloads faster and has a much slicker UI.

iv just used CIAngel to get corpse party (its not on freeshop) it downloaded and installed the full cia file not just the ticket does not let you install just the ticket. I did find out my own answer on the CIAngel because i clicked on a game with out meaning to and it give me an error that it was not able to install. (i found out i can redownload it form the eshop tho.) Freeshop is what i use the most and it does not have any of the game updates on there any game i download i have to use the eshop to update them and i do not know were you find the dlc's on free shop at because i have looked and it does not have them.

Yeah your question can easily be answered by doing it yourself.
Last time I used CIAngel, it only allows creating ticket so yeah maybe it's a big update to compete with freeshop.
In freeshop if you open the title list which you downloaded on your console, you'll see some yellow "!" icons to warn if there's available update or DLC

CIAngel has never been limited to only installing a ticket, unless you change it to ticket installation mode. It has existed and had direct game install support longer than FreeShop has existed.

I did not think of that.
When asking questions about a homebrew app, never create a new topic, the developer will 99% of the time not see it/ignore it. Post in the homebrew topic, as then the developer will most likely atleast get a notification of the post.
