Using soundhax alone won't get you banned, no. Conceptually I'm sure there is homebrew out there, when used incorrectly, that can get you banned. You're probably safe though.

Technically anyone can install a legit cia by going to the eshop and buying it (cia will be downloaded and installed), unless you have a Poke-Banned console.

But if you've bought the game on another device, dumped it into a signed cia and want to install it on another device with soundhax on 11.2, yes it is technically possible with fasthax+fbi. I don't think they've made that yet though. Should be coming soon if it's not out yet.

There is plenty more to install. Depends on what you want to do with it. One important one is a save manager like svdt.

I'm not sure I fully understand that. There are emulators availible for the 3DS. Some run too slow on the O3DS, and some require CFW.

2. not on 11.2 atm, but in the future it should be possible on fasthax
3. you can use emulators
4. you can search the forum for more useful homebrew apps

i have been putting off getting homebrew for 4 or 5 days because i was worried about bans and things but this really helped me finally get it

You cannot install Legit .cia files on 11.2 at the moment but you will be able to very soon (within the next couple of days).
