Any news to dump a trimmed RedNAND? Because 33GB is just too much XD
After all, in the 33GB, 85% of the data is just empty data... X_X Right? (if you haven't installed anything on the wii u nand).
This isnt a problem for as I have a 128gb SD with more than enough space for my 32gb console redNAND dump.

But... Now that we have OTP & SEEPROM redirection, Is this enough for people with 32gb nands (That want to save some space) to maybe use/borrow someone else's vanilla/fresh 8gb console nand dump, Create the 8-9gb of raw/unallocated space on SD & inject that smaller nand into their SD for use with redNAND on their 32gb console??

I know its illegal to be sharing them here & all that, But would this be possible?

It doesn't matter if you see 85% of the data empty, that means it's just full of zeros.
FULL.

I know it's full of zero, and that's the problem!
If there is a way to "emulate" with the cfw a 8GB nand on 32GB Wii U... It would be amazing! Or maybe create an app that takes 25 virtual gigabytes for the wiiU.... X_X

Yeah, indeed, it would be cool if it's possible.

You know...FYI, honestly, cannot wait for what will be next coming out from dimok. Really excited to see what the next implementation is. Again thanks a lot dear friend. :yayu:

How to make launch_image.tga wich program need to be used? I tried gimp and photoshop cs6 and only display garbage in to the wiiu

I use a launch_image.tga that works for a template.
Photoshop for the editing and saving.
Alter the image, make sure to save it as tga 16 bit uncompressed.
DO NOT CHANGE THE SIZE OF THE IMAGE.

Extract your ticket and put it with your downloaded app/tmd
install with WUPinstaller
Since you're talking about installing an eshop title for which you already have a legitimate eshop ticket installed (the 696 byte one), you don't want to include the ticket with the install files.

having some problems with rednand not working in 0.2

steps 1.boot wii u
2. do my drc-sim shenanigans
3. load ds vc/haxchi
4. load mocha from homebrew launcher
5. see mocha loadscreen (0.2)
6. make rednand folder
7. turn console off, pull power for good measure
8. boot and see rednand folder....

checked mochas config file and yeah rednand and otp/seeprom is set to 1
I know I had it working on 0.1 (had to edit a DS VC's meta.xml on both)

You could use UStealth to "Hide" the USB from being prompted to be formatted if thats what your looking for.
Yes I could, but mostly none of the vWii homebrew titles are able to use it. Especially if I were to use RetroArch.

Sorry for this probably stupid questions but... some pages tell me Mocha CFW is able to launch out-of-region games. But other people tell me only to use in-region games.

Can I just install a NTSC game on my PAL WiiU with Wup-installer when I'm running Mocha?

Yes, those guys are lying or they just talk shit about things they don't know.

I made a custom launch image if anybody is interested in using it. You'll have to flip it vertically (I'm not sure why Mocha flips the image) and save it as a proper TGA.

I don't suppose anyone can help me out with a .tga version of this launch image that I could use?

just use paint.net? I think you just need to mirror it vertically
edit: see if this works, attached zip with .tga

Thanks a lot for your help, the linked file didn't work but i'll check paint.net out :)
Because it needs to be a 16-bit TGA and Paint.NET only allows you to choose 32-bit or 24-bit. The reason I didn't initially post it as a TGA is because GBATemp won't let me upload a TGA file and it won't even accept a RAR or ZIP file.

Just take that image, flip it vertically in Photoshop and save it as TGA, choosing 16-bit when the dialog pops up.
