Hi there
A loong time ago I switched the shell of my Switch Lite. Yesterday I recognized, that the backlight shines through the schell in dark conditions. Is this normal or a broken display-backlight? Did anyone of you have the same "issue"?

This isn't a broken display but rather a bad screen installation. It can be caused by two things, poor insulation (the foam piece) or a pinched local area because of the applied screws.

So, i reassembled everthing but it looks like its the design of the screen. Its one with a siver mirror backside and the light is shining out of the white frame. maybe the design is like this because the original cases are not transparent?
So everthinmg looks good, no open parts, broken foam or insulation.
