But really, this would be a great idea, because with some blogs:tm: or other statuses, It's just harder to look through your Alerts when you wake up/come back.

No, because when you reply to a status, you're watching it forever, and there is no stopping unless it is deleted/Dead/you are ignoring everyone replying to the status.
