Hardware Any decent strategy to get my hands on that limited edition new 3DS on Black Friday?

i even called and asked electronics if there was a line of people getting them, and if was even worth it to come in and get it. The lady was like "uuuuuhhhhmmm.. man, idk, sir." and I was just sitting here like. All you have to do is turn your head, like what?

nah, not a suuuper nice area @ night, so we waited for a ride. Left when they only had 3 left, and got there with 3 still left.

I'm pretty sure it is 11.0

Ha. My area is so small the chance of the N3DS running out is super slim. Trust me when I say the place where I live is small. We literally have no lines or people camping outside during black friday.

I picked up one of mine from TRU, and it also shows 11.0 (black version).

I'm still unsure about keeping one, mainly because of overall height. Seems fine width-wise from side to side, and I can probably deal with smaller screens, but with the way I hold it with my big hands, there's now some space around my palms that my XL would sit in that the n3DS can't reach. Maybe it just needs more time for adjusting, or maybe there's something the n3DS can sit in that gives it something like handles.

I will say though that the n3DS seems louder than my o3DS XL, which is a major plus imo.

How long does the system transfer take place? It's barely at 50% transferring data from the CFW 2DS to this black n3DS. Oh and it says SD card data 1/6 on my host 2DS.

Apparently despite my requesting cancellation on Walmart, it shipped and I was charged.
I should be fine, since I recall it returns and refunds if you don't pick it up.

Though, at that rate, maybe I could use it as a gift if it comes in...

I mean IPS do have better viewing angles compared to TN, but who doesn't hold their 3ds head on?

My Walmart date has updated: is now 29th-1st.
Also, their email systems are junk: it said it would tell me if it cancelled/shipped and I've received nothing as far as that goes.

Got my message saying the Walmart order is ready for pickup, so that's cool.
Unlike anything else so far, I actually got a notice of it rather than it just appearing on the site.
