Does anybody know if the NNID is tainted or if it is just a system ban?
Because if it is the latter I would call Nintendo, say I "lost" the System, and get it linked with my previous 3DS. I just don't want to get another 3DS banned if the ID is bad, but judging by it working everywhere but the 3DS I suspect it is fine.

It seems that ToxicPotato asked this before, but I don't think they've received an answer yet.
By any circumstance, Nintendo will not remove the NNID, the NNID is forever tainted on all 3DSes.

I called two times with different situations and they said simply no and the description why.

It's was an example anyway. I don't really plan to go online (I already imported all my pokemons so don't need the GTS) as I only play local battle with my brother (don't like the fact you can't play 6v6 random online, only with friends, and friend code are a pain to add/get). I can just delete all the internet connections to prevent the 3DS to access internet and avoid the problem.

But Nintendo are really weird if the game is still not unlocked for those who pre-purchased it.

If people want to be safe, yeah, they can still wait a bit but most USA players used the online at midnight (November 18) and we didn't hear any ban since.
How'd you import your mons without the Bank? Mine are all still trapped in AS...

Will you get banned if you are using a legit version of the game, but you transfer your save file from the leaked copy, and your adventure start date is way before the game released?

No... Only if you played online before the game being released.

No, but I got banned from playing ORAS, I couldn't believe it since it was almost a year since I played the game and I thought this whole time I was using a private header (new's flash I wasn't), but I fixed it now. I found out it was the only game I had without a private header. People who got banned with Sun/Moon either: (a) got it before it's release, or (b) played it online before it's release with, or (c) played it online without a private header.

My NNID still works on the miiverse page if accessed from a pc and the WiiU that has it works just fine. I don't want to 100% prove anything but I think it's fine to use the "tainted" NNID on a different 3DS.

So guys I have a question. My region is Europe.
I downloaded Pokemon Moon via freeshop before the Europe release (Of course I didn't access the online features). Do you think it's safe to go online now or should I download it again?

I'd redownload again you don't wanna risk anything

As the eShop version (as well as the freeshop version) do share the same titlekeys and seeds for all regions , the need of redownload is not given..however, feel free to do so :)

Thanks guys! I think I will redownload it. Is it safe to go online after that?
Also, do you know if I have to start a new game or I can use the same save file?
