That same copy that thousands of pirates where playing illegaly and somewhat saying are safe to keep....I think that about sums it up.
The lurantis cia is just a cart dump. Like any other cart dump you could make with a cart purchased on release date. There's nothing special in it. Nintendo banned people from going online before release date. That's all the evidence points to. Nothing to go on about cart dumps being detectable. And once again: if that were the case: the scene is dead. It's not. Every new game gets a cart dump somewhere. No one's getting banned from it.

i don't understand how the scene would be dead if nintendo could detect piracy. how would that kill the scene in any way? we just wouldn't be able to play online anymore.

Just out of curiousity, I know that Nintendo demands a screenshot of the receipt when you call them, but could whatever info they might also need be found on the cover?

I would consider buying a copy and then return it if you can kiss nintendo's butt without having to break the box seal.

Please get out, you're an idiot.

You literally have no idea what Nintendo is capable of, perhaps the ability to detect the difference between a cart dump and an actual eShop version of a game is something they added in a recent firmware update and are just now testing it for the first time. Perhaps it's a new anti-piracy method that has only been used in Pokemon Sun and Moon for the first time. It's not a stretch to think Nintendo has implemented a way to see if a game is using the 3DS' header with a game version number of 0, to instantly know whether someone is using a dumped cart cia, rather than a version of the game from the eShop.

they wont unban you trust me.

It would be a shame if Nintendo did start implementing new security measures like sending activity log or checking cart dump for eshop dump. That would put a big dent in the 3ds CFW scene

can I have a link for the discord's pubblic lfcs group? perhaps nintendo don't ban the pubblic lfcs I want to go online :3 after that if the ban was temporary it's better, anyway I will get one by myself.
there's a chanche for a generator?

Alright then, will see in about a week.If they are safe to keep then that's great by all means, but that's just too good to be true lol

eldavo2090 and gamefan5 started using v0 after release and didn't get banned. There's no evidence that Nintendo is banning for v0 that I've seen (although people have claimed this a lot).

Hello, I have some trouble to browse every message in the topic so I'll ask the question here, sorry if it has already been addressed.

Is it safe to play online with a legit cartridge in Europe? My 3DS is not hacked. The reason is that in France we got the cartridges before the release date, that is november 23. Thank you in advance.

but where is the proof?
read the tos they tell you they collect activity data and because it would be stupid not to have cross referencing

but that can still be disabled using the "don't send information to Nintendo" feature. I doubt they would send it anyway, why include the feature then?

can probably be avoided using patches

to disable other things like automatic demos and game gifts.

That's also my feeling but contradicts the info gathered through calls, hence i would still like for someone to answer my question.
i asked them they said no.

but that was another feature. One option to disable getting stuff from Nintendo, the other for sending information to Nintendo.

If what is being said is true, then every 9.2 emunand/a9lh sysnand is screwed
