innocent?
hahahahahaha
More like thieves
No no no.... I mean if a hacker changes the device ID to something random. Chances are someone shares their random id somewhere in the world. If the id is banned, both the innocent person AND the pirate are banned. The pirate can unban himself, the innocent person can't. Understand now?

I'm buying a 3ds XL tomorrow on 9.xx I currently have a banned 2ds what should I do? I played Pokemon sun and have the jksm saved should I hack and move? It's a new 2ds so nothing really on there I care for.

since the console genrates the id would be be possbile to reverse engine it and make a genrator ot make a homebrew that keeps genrating ids using the console and putting them on the sd card

Even though Aurora doesn't add it into Luma we can still use MegaMew's patch to unlink. Any news about the region changing?

Chill we all thieves
the biggest irony of this is most games i copy i end up always owning legit in my library at a point and time down the road (only time it doesnt is if the game was really really bad and i didnt even play more than 10% of it) also piracy isnt stealing once something is stolen its no longer there, there is no such thing as a stolen sale hell if that was true i could be like yo fam don't buy X game and if they listen apparently i just commited a crime lmao, people just get salty and claim its theft cause MUH COMPANIES MONIES

also because of this ban anyway Nintendo aint seein my money again I already only PC game and rarely touch the wii u, and was very on the fence about the switch they just put the nail into the coffin :^)

I followed this topic when it was at page ~100 and we had still no solution, has something been found yet ?

I have the lightest ban (002-0102) and I can access the eShop but I can't play online.
I read in the earlier posts that you can "swap" the ban between DS', but I only have one hacked DS (whom the SysNand is replaced by an EmuNand).
Is there anything I could do to unban it ? (Sorry if I'm not clear enough; I'm not very experienced, a friend helped me to hack it in the first place.)

Smeome link me this method I might do it

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Let's you create, unlink, delete your NNID. However we're stuck because now we get 011-6901 after we link the new NNID.
Mind linking me ?

"they just need to compare the deviceID to the list they have - because they're known to have a CTCert database - and ban something else if missing, such as friend seed or NNID)"

What did Aurora mean by this?
Does this mean using blank NNIDs and injected friend seeds will lead to bans?
That's what I'd like to know. It could really help us D:

It is very unlikely that you can randomly change your ID and it matches someone else's. Those randomly generated number systems are designed so they will never get 2 of the same random id. Otherwise, tons of people should have been banned for it already.

If it was that easy it would already be there.

Your ID is generated from the console yes but your ID is also something Nintendo do cross check and validate on their side (since that's how they determine if you are banned or not).

While from an algorithmic point of view you can generate as many "valid" IDs as you want, they will only work if Nintendo has them on their side. And the chance for you to "find" a truly legit ID of someone else out there is pretty much 0.

when you format the console the moveble seed i think gets regenerated and if you use a different one it unbans you
