How would I go about using Adrenaline offline? I can't seem to get the Henkaku offline installer to point to beta.henkaku. I posted this in the Homebrew requests thread, but it's pretty barren right now.

Sometimes it happens, yeah. But, as the installer says, its completely "normal".

Not that I've seen, its still considered in "beta" rather than an official hack so the team hasn't made anything officially.

However, now that this is out, I assume someone will start working on getting an offline installer for taiHen too.

Yes manually make the folder. You might have to do it on the vita itself.

I keep getting "Error reading 661.PBP (0x00000000)" What gives? It's the 661 from Sony.

EDIT: I am the Apple iFail. FTP didn't send the whole FW over. Was wondering why it showed as 18MB. All is good.

Oh the only thing, that ISO folder is of course for PSP games/Minis so anything with CSO or ISO but if you have any PSP emulation you want to put on this you'll need to drop those files into the GAME folder for them to work, I'm happily mashing through stages in Rhythm Tengoku on the GBA using GPSPkai inside the EPSP, so much joy having full speed GBA on the Vita even if it isn't Native and of course we have access to the PSP's N64 emulation now, which isn't perfect but it's enough to play through Mario64 as long as you have the audio disabled (have 120 stars on my PSPgo save heh)

Oh that can happen alright, you can know if it's installed by either firing up a thing which wouldn't boot on the official firmware or else go into settings in your Vita and checking inside Settings > System > System information, with this installed and working your System Software should read 3.60 "2 chinese symbols"-7"beta symbol"4, the main thing is just not to freak out if you have this installed and you go to run Henkaku because you will get the error message that your system is on 3.61 and is no longer Henkaku compatible, but it's perfectly fine, do not freak out thinking you were tricked into updating (I sure didn't do that!... in full panic mode)

If you mean can you run PSP games now on the Vita? Yup that is exactly what this is for, you basically get a PSP hidden inside the icon of whichever PSP game you offer up to your lord and saviour TheFlow, that psp is on a custom firmware version 6.61 which after creation can be used to play any psp software or any emulation programs which were designed for the psp.

It literally makes the device a 2 for 1 with the lovely OLED screen goodness.

only thing is, read through the instructions carefully as you install this, there is a lot of steps and it works fine as long as they're all followed!

Anyone getting random crashes? Using Pool Hall Pro as the base game. Also my Vita will lock up from time to time while using Adrenaline. Related issue or just taiHEN being unstable?

Is there any way to get the screenshots to work? When I try taking one it opens up the game quit screen and takes a pic of that instead.

Nope. You need a CFW PS3 to get it as it is not officially available for the Vita, only for PSP. But the PS3 allows you to grab the pkg file for the PSP and the .lic file, you can then install the pkg file using package installer and copy the license file over to the PSV.

Once you got that working, make a backup to the PC using QCMA.

If you have the echochrome demo in your download history it can be downloaded with the Vita.

Not had this yet myself, Been playing for about 45mins straight of one game, going to give it a bit more rigorous testing tomorrow though, but how long are you getting to play before a crash happens? if it is right away then there is something gone wrong I would think. Did you have any issues before installing this? Just using normal Henkaku I mean?

I used the Pixel Junk demo on my Vita and PSTV (it's only 12 Megabytes, yay!), works just fine.
