Gaming Has anyone gotten banned from playing Pokemon Moon online?

Ok, i am going to give the scenario i am in, you guys tell me if i am safe

I installed pokemon sun and moon, i played only moon for a while but never went online. When this ban stuff came out i deleted title and ticket for both games. If i download freeshop copy of pokemon sun and moon when it is officially released in US, am i safe from ban?

I know, i have talked about this alot but all these posts are getting me conern about the possibility of a ban.

YES, You are safe. People have told you this. They probably won't roll out another ban wave after S&M release FFS.

Yes, just wait a couple of days (saturday/sunday) to play online, but you can play offline all what you want without risk

Im still unsure if i still have my NNID linked. I did inject an empty nnid bin. Im getting 002 while trying to access friendslist/games, and getting 022. I tried to log into Nintendo through website but it says my email doesn't work with my associated nnid.

If i try to create a new NNID or link an existing i get a 2812 Error. I want to make sure that it has been unlinked. I want to do a system transfer to my stock n3dsxl without having that nnid stick to my new system getting it banned. =/ its risky

I think it's been speculated enough that if you ever played online doesn't matter how long, there is a chance you will be banned. Just look at it like that instead of hoping you won't because it's still just as likely you could be. No one can tell you if you're safe or not if you ever connected online while playing. You just have to wait and see.

yeah i think so. It's weird cause because prior to the ban waves i was able to access all internet games, friendslist. I did the stupid and injected an old friendcodeseedb file to see if im able to remove the NNID. With the injection i was now unable to access friendlist/games online. sooo ? =$

Well you didn't "trigger" the ban or anything like that, you were blacklisted to be banned just like everyone else, it just took a minute to get to you.

While I'm glad for this. Another question to add onto it. While I'm probably not going to do this specifically because risk vs reward. Hypothetically these bans could be indirectly connected to the save file right? So even if someone backed up their save if it states that they started their game beforehand it could -potentially- set off a flag to Nintendo? So the best bet is to wipe completely. Right?

If you go online you can never be absolutely safe, so take your chances

I don't know man! Even Skankhunt42 had to delete everything to avoid being caught. Also, I don't think you understand what I meant. I wasn't trying to imply that they'd ban your save. More-so that if your save has information for instance saying that it was started at a date before the official release. If you potentially go online with that, they could potentially flag that save for illegitimacy.

Plus the delightful despair of knowing a ban is probably permanent is pretty nice to be honest. I felt the same despair when all my botted Pokemon Go accounts got banned. I make a decent sum of cash a day (~$145), and have no real expenses, so I just bought a new 3ds and have since dismissed my old one as a likely brick.
