The only SFX game I've tried that doesn't run well is Stunt Race FX - but that's due to some graphical glitching that might end up being fixable. It's pretty remarkable!

I recently noticed that the Atari 7800 and 2600 systems have pretty solid libretro ports of ProSystem and Stella respectively. Does anyone know if these cores could be added to the 3DS branch? Is the 3DS hardware fast enough to run these? I don't know how intensive these are, but they run great on a Raspberry Pi 2. I haven't tried them on the older Pi 1B+ yet.

There's a DS port of Stella, and a DS2 7800 emulator, so I'd say probably

Anyone know why it takes ten seconds to load and save in Genesis Plus GX? It's the CIA version if that helps.
Other .CIA versions of the emulators such as pcsx and snes9x 02 also have this,
though to different extends pcsx loads/saves slower while snes9x 02 loads/saves faster.

A difference in sizes changes the time that is for sure, but as to why the loading/saving times changed a while back i would assume that it is for accuracy.
But to be sure about that, you would need to ask the one that made the changes in the code.

Umm......ooh.........I'm not sure about what I'm doing. I'm trying to use CIA format (yes, my 3DS is prepped for that), but WHOA.......that's a lot of CIAs. Do I just put the specific CIAs I want (i.e. Quicknes) and the Retroarch folder into my SD and call it a day? 'Cuz I tried that, and Final Fantasy 3 (NES) doesn't work.
