Hacking Is it possible to update my Wii U when it's spoofed to the latest version?

My Wii U should be on 5.3.2, but it's spoofed to 5.5.1. I was told that I should try to update to 5.5.1 while I can, but updating through the system settings says it's on the latest version. Since I believe the spoof is permanent and the system believes I'm on 5.5.1 and won't attempt to update further than that, would I be able to update my Wii U's actual firmware to 5.5.1?

Are you sure your wii u is still spoofed? Do you have tubehax dns to block updates? If not it's possible you left it in standby and it updated by itself. I may be way off tho, I never spoofed so I'm not sure how it works exactly but going to system setting or using a game like colour splash should update the wii u

I updated from 5.3.2 spoofed to 5.5.1, to actual 5.5.1.
If it works anything like 3DS, rather than checking one "version" it checks everything together, and since the actual system is still outdated, it updated that.

Try to run a game that needs an update, the console will nag for a system update.

Do you still see that red TV icon? If not then you should be updated.
Simple as that.

And if you're not updated, just run system update, it will update you to the latest version regardless of your spoof.
