Hey guys :)

So, I am using a redNAND atm, but I want to have signature patches in my sysNAND. Does someone has a fork or could someone create one?
IIRC it wouldn't be much work to remove the rednand-stuff, but I am really not able to do it. xD

Thx for your attention

I second that, RedNAND doesn't seem that useful to me (yet), having syspatches in sysNAND would be more than sufficient to install a DLC or two. So if anyone could create a way to compile a fw.img for that purpose only, that would be great! Thanks!

Ok, there is a "warning" that you will brick your console if using that in sysNAND. Will that definitely happen or just if you do the wrong things?

Sorry I have to ask this but I am a total noob when it comes to wii u (just created an account for this).
Is there a guide on how to use this particular fw.img to sigpatch the sysnand? Because I too don't see much use in rednand except for the sigpatch. The git hub itself doesn't help that much.

Just go to the site that everyone curses about mentioning, they have both fw.imgs there that work in the wiiu tutorials section, one for the wupserver and one for the Rednand "Sigs Patched" in separate threads, that's is you cannot compile the one from FIX94's link, that is, it is quite confusing to do I must admit.

But that is still not a fw.img that activates signature patches in sysNAND. I have a redNAND, yea, but I do not want to use it (mainly because I want to use Wii Virtual Console).
Still thx for your help guys, but unfortunately this is not what I am searching for. I search a fw.img that does not boot into my redNAND but activates signature patches. ;)

I think Naendow wants to "install" or "patch" sysNAND with these, for a permanent solution, to not having to run the browser exploit.
If I am wrong...

then simply do as suggested, boot the fw.img file and it will sig patch sysNAND temporarily? Or do you have to modify the OS hook path to be sysNAND?

Or is there enough "OS" within fw.img that allows us to warmboot to a patched OS, until a restart?

There is only one fw.img file at the moment for systemnand with sig patches and the ones in the tutorial section are the same as the one you have just made they do the same, install VC, eshop, dlc etc.. to Rednand, there is no permanent fixture to Rednand yet. As far as installing content, you just use System Config Tool and select Tile Management. As far as the Homebrew features side, there isn't a forwarder Channel yet!

Sorry are you saying you can now have a fw.img that boots sig patches in systemnand? if that is the case you will still have to boot the fw.img with CFW Booter so I cannot see the point!

Your wrong. @FIX94 fw.img has sig patches and doesn't need rednand.
I installed a bunch of games to sysnand with ti.

I don't understand; I'm also trying to get sig-patches for SysNAND only, so I went and compiled the fw.img from FIX94's branch, however I am just stuck on the "Welcome to RedNAND!" screen. I thought you guys said it worked without error?

I only did this without a rednand. (that could be the problem for you)
I compiled the fw.img for hacking vwii.

Well I also did it without RedNAND, on a fresh SD card! ;)
I haven't heard of a fw.img to hack vwii... is this the one you guys were talking about originally?
