Don't open cheat menu outdoors.

I haven't tried that.
The game crashes when I use it on the title screen and indoors.
I can still navigate the cheat menu, but the game is frozen.
When I press B, nothing works except re-opening the cheat menu.

I just tried again with this version of BootNTR (https://github.com/astronautlevel2/BootNTR/releases/tag/3.4.2) and it isn't working.
BootNTR Selector won't run (says my 11.2 firmware isn't compatible)

Launch BootNTR Selector with internet enabled, it'll auto update to the version 2.3 which supports 11.2.

Type the item ID into chat and then send it, then press X + D pad right and then it should go into your inventory.

What're you doing? Please explain the steps that you're taking to get your item.
For example, I'm inside my house inside of my town, I type 2117 into chat and send it, I press send and then I press X + D pad right and I will have a 99,000 bell bag in my inventory.

Don't type the "0x" it's a mistake a lot of people are making. Just use the last 4 digits.
