what if we cant get on the eshop. My console can download game updates, but when I try to get on the eshop, it just gives me an error and when entered into their website it tells me to call support. tried it and it took 3 days to hear back from a supervisor. bad timing so couldnt answer

as tubehax uses dns to trick around:
once you're device did get the information from the dns server it won't ask it again until the "time to life" ttl is over, on mac and windows and linux you could flush the dns cache so it reloads the data, or just restart ttl can be up to 5minutes or 48 hours

This, is not true, I follow this really closely and nothing has been confirmed yet. The only thing we know is that smealum used some kirby games in his tutorial, that's all. Stop spreading what you don't know. If you post that, it means you are able to post the source of what you are saying, stop going like RedNand people spreading things about linked and unlinked NANDs which are not true.

haxchi exploits a bug in the emulator's rom loader, and basically gets it to perform arbitrary memcpy operations. from there, achieving code execution is trivial given that there is no ASLR in place.

It exploits a bug is the emulator's rom loader. So it means, the only condition for it to not work is that the emulator's rom loader is not the same on all NDS VC games. And that's the reason why no one can confirm this for now: WE DON'T KNOW.

These functions DO appear to be present in Kirby Squeak Squad. I'm not trying to say that Kirby will be the ONLY game that works with this, but it's potentially a waste of money to go out and buy a DS VS game right now because we don't know if this exploit will work with every DS VC game at the moment.

The ROM loader for different VC titles definitely have some differences. i.e. certain titles having the "Close screen" option while others don't.

I'm not trying to spread lies, just trying to save people some money from buying a VC game that might not be compatible.

Feel free to correct me if you have more accurate information.

I had a feeling this would be case so I have been on the fence for buying a DS game. For all I know, another DS game besides Kirby Squeak Squad may work better then people with that game may be left out if the exploit shifts to using that other DS game.

It may be ok to buy a DS game to prepare, with the risk of wasting money on a game that is incompatible with the exploit but rushing though some thrown together guide is just asking for a brick.
