I've been following plailect's guide to installing arm9loaderhax on my old 3DS. (https://plailect.github.io/Guide/installing-arm9loaderhax) I have successfully downgraded the system to 2.1.0 as instructed by the guide and as I go to type in http://dukesrg.github.io/2xrsa.html?arm11.bin (which is the next step) this is what appears on my screen.I have retried this many of times, clearing the history and all save data but still no luck. The arm11.bin and arm9.bin files are on the root of my SD card and I've recopied these several times also. I'm searching for a solution as I've wasted hours trying to complete this step. What could possibly be the problem?

well try clearing browser data from the browser settings, also, you did reinsert the sd card after 2.1 booted right.. seems a stupid question but it can happen..

Yes I have done both and it still doesn't load.
Try this:
disconnect your WIFI (wifi button on 3DS side, don't remember if left or right).

Open the browser and click settings. Scroll down to "Clear save data" and click it.
You'll return to Home menu.

Open the browser again and you'll configure it.
Close it and open again. Click the URL and write the link without errors (check if it's well written with everything: http:// etc, etc)
Launch and it will error because of no Internet (WIFI was disconnected, remember???)
Exit the browser.

On Home Menu, activate your WIFI.
Open the browser and don't touch anything. The link will launch.
When the SafeA9LHInstaller launch, only press SELECT (even if it seems that it's crashed) A9LH will install.

Oh and as a reminder: you do have alongside the arm9 and arm11.bin from SafeA9LHInstaller, the a9lh folder from data_input (with the contents of arm9loaderhax.zip on that folder also) on SD, right?

Yes I do have all of the above on my SD card.

I've just tried out your suggestion and it still returns back to the loading screen.

Well, only thing I can think is, maybe dukesrg is offline for the time beeing.
Try some other webpage to see if your NET is working.

Also, from the Troubleshooting (nothing new to you but...)
A browser based exploit is not working
Browser based exploits (such as browserhax or 2xrsa) are often unstable and crash frequently, but they can sometimes be fixed by doing the following steps

  1. Open the browser, then open the browser settings
    1. Scroll to the bottom and Initialize Savedata (it also may be called Clear All Save Data)
    2. Try the exploit again

Can you take a Picture of your SD card and post here?

It's strange you're not beeing able to run the exploit.

Your SD is full of unneeded files. It's better to clean them and only have the needed ones.

I'm also guessing you didn't formated the console before starting and that before you started the guide, you were using menuhax+Emunand RxTools?

I'm going out for a few hours but I can guide you through afterwards, if you want or still need help.

Did you make this step to delete/clear the Home Menu exdata?(The guide instructs you to do it twice; on the 2.1 Transfer and on the prep work of Installing A9LH although I only think you need to do it once but worth to try)
Clear Home Menu’s extdata by navigating to the following folder on your SD card: /Nintendo 3DS/(32 Character ID)/(32 Character ID)/extdata/00000000/
  • EUR Region: Delete 00000098

I'd rather wait and you guide me as I don't know what I'm doing at this point. Thank you for being so helpful!

Hi again.

First, post here your Decrypt9.log file (attach it) (it's on the SD root) and also show what is inside files9 folder (Picture of it)

Next, let's start with some basic checks:
1. On your system settings, what is the FW you are? Top screen, bottom right it say's ver X.X.X-XE
2. If you open the browser and type some other page (for exemple: http://gbatemp.net) does it open normally?
3. Just remembered something: instead of http, try to use https.

Now, about the SD card:
1. Make a complete copy of it on a folder on your PC (in case something goes wrong)
Important Folders are: "files9" (where your NAND backups are); "Nintendo 3DS" (where your games/saves are and work together with the NAND backup);"DCIM" (where your pictures are stored)
2. Delete everything from SD except those 3 folders
2a. Inside files9 folder, delete ALL fbi_v2.4.2xxx EXCEPT fbi_v2.4.2_O3DS_EURxx. Leave the rest of the files untouched.
3. Do all the prep work from the page "Installing A9LH". Take notice that you must use SafeA9LHInstaller v2.0.3 (for Old3DS). NOT the latest version
4. Boot you console without the SD card and when you see the Home Menu, insert the card back in.
5. Go to system settings and check if your Internet Connection is set right.
6. Set your WIFI to OFF (side button)
7. On the browser click on "Favorites" (Star Symbol) and edit one Favorite with the link for the exploit (choose the Yahoo for eg.)
8. Try to launch that favorite which will error (no WIFI)
9. Exit Browser and turn WIFI on
10. Open the Browser and the link will launch.

Did it worked?
Yes. Ok, continue with the guide.

No. In that case, shutdown the console, remove the SD and boot it. Go to Systems settings, last page (4 I think) and format the console.
After you configure everything, try again from step 4.

Good luck and if you have any questions/doubts just ask, ;)

I can't find the Decrypt9.log file.

The system is on version 2.1.0-4E.

I have access to other websites on the web browser.

Tried copying the arm11.bin file again?
Also try going in Data Management and delete any data related to 3DS Browser, also from within the browser clear data and settings. Check system Date/Time as well.

Just saw your files9 folder. You'll have to remove some files from there since you put every region of fbi.
Give me a moment to re-write my previous post.
