Hacking microSD card got corrupted--what do I need to put back on it?

I successfully hacked a 3ds a while ago. It is running on armhax and luma.

However, I accidentally removed the SD card while the 3ds was on, and when I checked it in my computer it said the SD card was corrupted and needed to be formatted.

The 3ds does not boot up anymore.

What would I need to put back on the SD card after I reformat it? I am assuming that the 3ds is still hacked and just needs an SD card with recognizable hack files.

Extract this to the root of your 3ds to get it to turn on again.


Then their might be an easier way, but you need fbi and homebrew launcher on your main screen. inject FBI through health and safety again to have fbi on the main menu. Then install the homebrew launcher .cia through fbi

After you get it back to 'working', definitely look in to 'shadownand'. Good thing plailect had you make backups of backups.

I still have most of the hack files on my desktop computer from earlier in the month.

Could I not use any of those to get fbi and homebrew back?



Edit--I extracted the files to the SD card...still no go on turning on.

I do have all the backups still on my PC, do you have any suggestions on how to get everything back on the SD card?

Did you copy your OTP.bin back to the SD card too? That's probably the most important file you're missing on the SD.

No, I haven't done that.

Edit--Did so, 3ds still not powering up, just has the blue light come on and then vanish.

No...can't seem to find that.

In the backup folder I have:

A pile of winrar programs that DO have decrypt9wip files.

A files9 folder
A backup folder of what appears to be savegames (with a Nintendo 3ds folder/private inside)
A Universal-Inject-Generator-Master folder

just follow the first part of the guide, where it tells you what do download and where to put it. that would be the easiest.

I have to keep slotkeys on there too, or some things don't work.
