WTF? Who at Nintendo thought this was a good idea?

Does make sense as back in the past NES games were stretched to 4:3 casually on TVs. So they don't see it being that important.


Or else you gotta sadly wait until the mini NES comes out, if you want 30 not-manually picked eShop NES titles for 60 euros with a NES controller. Beats the eShop prices of 30 NES games...

The NES Mini is not really long from now anyway.

Exactly, just a week away. Preordered it. Can finally play Pixel Perfect SMB 3. on an official Nintendo product. Without the small screen of a 3DS (or using 480p/576i quality if my Wii). However, Nintendo still should've added this pixel perfect feature to the 3DS and Wii U. Especially Wii U with its mediocre NES emulation compared to the Wii and 3DS (and the NES mini).
