The washers on my older N3DS just kinda fell out over time. You should be able to use a knife or something to get them off. Maybe try heating them up a bit. (I don't know) I assume you're trying to transfer larger files, but I would just use the MicroSD management or an FTP if you have HBL access for smaller things so you don't have to keep removing the SD. I'm lazy, so I don't take the back off and remove the SD card all that much.

I think nintendo should have included a screw driver with this console. I had to use a knife to unscrew them, since i never had anything so small
They didn't even include a charger do you think they are going to bother with that? xD

I had to remove the back a lot when doing the a9lh installation, after that I just limit myself to the SDCard Manager, I haven't removed the back ever since (6 months or so)

Well i figured a screwdriver that small wouldn't cost as much as a charger, so i dunno.

I have a hacked 3ds aswell and I only take the back off like once every few months. You know you can send stuff wirelessly right?
20-50+ mbps write speed vs like what, 1-5mbps max over network? Most of the things i do involve changing a few bytes of a file, and saving it somewhere, opening an ftp client/nintendos file transfer, sending a file ota, rinse and repeat is much more painful than unmounting sd, click save, reinsert sd, repeat.

Well its obviously more then just "unmounting sd, click save, reinsert sd, repeat." if your worried about back plate screws xD If its a CIA then FBI is fairly fast. Your gonna wear out both your SD reader and back plate if you keep it up lol What kinda stuff are you transferring?
Edit: Sorry thought you were OP

Not exactly on an A9LH install. (I'm not doing it right now, but maybe soon)

Done a lot of installs on n3DS XLes - and I usually leave the backplate completely off until I finish with it.

If I'm particularly worried that the battery will drop out, I'd stick some painter's tape over it.

I personally handled a call from the second highest person at Raytheon. That call bothered me a lot... The guy was nice and smart what bothered me was the way management basically just blew him off instead of going the extra mile to help him.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
In the end that call ended up costing Dell millions in lost contracts with Raytheon, and really the issue could have been solved for like 450 bucks lol

sometimes I wonder why anyone would ever buy mega man x legacy collection 2

I always thought that capcom shuffled the games in these collection, but apparently they are all in chronological order, which makes legacy collection 2 worthless
