I have a Hori Battlepad as my GC controller with Nintendont. But moving Mario in this game feels like he's on ice everytime. What's the best controller to play this game as easily as Super Mario 64/64 DS?
If you wanna control this game like sm64ds, then play it with an Atari 5200 controller.I have a Hori Battlepad as my GC controller with Nintendont. But moving Mario in this game feels like he's on ice everytime. What's the best controller to play this game as easily as Super Mario 64/64 DS?
Does a normal Gamecube controller have differences with the HORI Battle Pad?If you wanna control this game like sm64ds, then play it with an Atari 5200 controller.
But really, just buy a GameCube controller and be done with it.
Yes it's wired and has analog triggersDoes a normal Gamecube controller have differences with the HORI Battle Pad?
Oh so the triggers are the reason that happens...Yes it's wired and has analog triggers
Uh, no. Wired controllers are better due to the lack of wireless lag, which is absolutely essential in games like Melee.Wavebird is always the right answer when asking best controller for gamecube. Wireless FTW.
Edit: didn't realize I was posting in a thread from 2 weeks ago, oops.

If you're going to say that wireless lag is bad enough to make you need a wired controller, you should tell him to buy a CRT TV too to minimize the video lag. I think wireless would be good enough to play casual melee and to play Super Mario Sunshine with.Uh, no. I'll conceed that point to you I don't remember it having lag on the gamecube itself but apparently it does on the wii for some reason.
Yeah, I actually tried a WaveBird on my Wii U. It's shit. I took it back and bought a Smash edition controller. If you're going to say that wireless lag is bad enough to make you need a wired controller, you should tell him to buy a CRT TV too to minimize the video lag. Analog triggers. Push down a little to be able to still walk and run while spraying.Oh so the triggers are the reason that happens...
And... how can I use the less water as possible in the game? Seems that it needs a lot of water and during boss battles I almost don't have water because of the previous jumps
