I think what you are going to need is d2x v10-alt. That CIOS allows for port1 USB support. Here is a quote from Cyan who explains the differences better then I ever can.

There is a newer version (v10 and v10-alternative), you don't need this version if v8 is working fine for you.
If the drive is not detected, you can try to install v10 (beta52) instead of v8.
You don't need v10-alt (beta53) unless you want to connect 2 HDD at the same time.

So I'm using iOS 250 for usb loader gx so I have to reinstall it with the same base slot and stuff just change it to d2x-v10-alt and after that both usbs will get detected right.Thx for the reply

Using "v10-alt" will indeed allow usage of USB Port1; but it's not automatic.
You will have to tell USBLoaderGX that your drive is connected on port1 instead of Port0.

Settings > HDD settings > USB Port : 1
then force a partition remount by clicking on the first option in the same menu and select the correct partition where you have Wii games.

If you want both drives at the same time :
Settings > HDD settings > USB Port : both
Settings > HDD settings > multiple partition : Enabled
the multi-partition option will let you list ALL wii games from all partition of both HDD at the same time. But gamecube games will still be listing the one from the "main path" and "sd path" set in the user settings.
If you have your gamecube games on the USB Port1, you'll have to change the path in the settings.
If you have your gamecube games on the USB Port0, it will not work with nintendont as it's using IOS58 and mounting Port1 first, expecting games on the first mounted drive.

Right. Without knowing what base you have installed in slot 250 right now I can only assume you followed the standard of installing base 57 in slot 250. If so then yes all you have to do is install d2x v10-alt into slot 250 with base 57. I've never used 2 USBs at the same time before so beyond this I can't really help you any further.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

You will have to tell USBLoaderGX that your drive is connected on port1 instead of Port0.
But I believe he wants to use both ports at the same time. Not just port1 instead of port0. Not sure if that makes any difference in your advice.

So I installed iOS 250 base 57 d2x-v10-alt it installed successfully but when I open usb loader it still only shows the first usb.Another thing I have to ask is that I had a usb 16gb SanDisk I put some games in it and opened usb loader gx first it opened fine but when I clicked on a game it froze so I turned my wii off and restarted this time usb loader was stuck at initializing usb so I turned off my wii and I tried again this time the usb isn't even detecting so I went to my laptop and plugged it in this time it's displaying in task bar but not in my computer any solutions?

installing the IOS is not enough, you need to use it. are you sure the loader is using slot 250?
Did you tell the loader to mount USB Port1, or dual port? maybe the meta.xml is bad (this is where the loader see if it should mount port1 and/or 2)

did you follow all my information on my previous post?
what did you do instead?

Loader settings game iOS 250
Loader iOS 250
Hard drive settings usb port both multi partitions enabled
Actually u know what I'm gonna start using cfg more because it has more compatibility I tried NMH 2 on usb loader gx it froze I tried the same thing on cfg it worked so well cfg ftw
But I will check if cfg works with multi partitions

The settings seem good.
Did you try loading only port1 instead of both ? (connect only one drive too, just for the test)
did you try switching the drives (maybe one drive has more issue initiating or is longer to wake-up and mount)

That's strange that NMH2 doesn't work in USBGX, there should be the same compatibility with all loaders.
Maybe a video setting issue, or a default settings which is different in both loaders. Well, if CFG works best for you, that's good. the important is that it works.

Flash drives can have different controller chips in them even for the same model numbers. I have three of the same model Sandisks and they all have different USB device IDs. Do you have a physical HDD you can try instead?

I'm not sure what else to tell you then. Flash drives stink on the Wii. Of the 3 I mentioned one works partially and the other two don't work at all. The crappy HDD enclosure I bought at a thrift store and stuck an extra SATA drive in works fine.

Well I guess I'll manage with just one port and well accept the fact that usbs mostly suck for the wii like u told but I just reinstalled ios249 so I'll try testing one more time in Usb loader gx
