I got a new update on downloads today:

If those are not system updates, what the hell are they? I'm already at 5.5.1, is it safe to apply the update?

The major problem is that the update its blocking all my eshop downloads, so I cannot download anything... I was planning to buy Tokyo mirage later today, but I will be fucked up if I cannot download it after buying.... Any possible workarounds to be able to download from eshop?

The wii u will try to download updates commonly like daily. Though there are no updates.
You can't use the eshop because your using tubehax which in order for updates to be blocked the eshop must be blocked too. Use nnu-patcher to access eshop. (forget it says only 5.3.2 it should work with 5.5.1)

Thanks for the reply xtheman166.

Yes, I'm using tubehax and NNUpatcher to access the eshop. But the eshop downloads wont start till the "system update" download succeeds.

As I'm already at 5.5.1, is it safe to temporally remove tubehax dns and apply the update so it can continue with the eshop downloads? or there is a better workaround for this?

No it is not safe. For me it normally goes away once in a while. Just wait and it should disappear. Also their is no update. If you get the warning that means tubehax is working.

So, if they are not real system updates, what the hell are they?

But the wii u can't access the update server with tubehax, so it notices you that the wii u can't verify if an update is available (in order to install it automatically without your permission). Too bad for the wii u XD.

Thanks.

Now I have to figure out how to get rid of the failed download so it can continue with the download queue...

I have a related question on this. Will game updates show up the same way? As an error and such. If so, would I need to unblock my U to get them?
