Hacking R4i sdhc rts vs r4i 3ds gold

I got the choice between those two. Price is the same . Which one have better support and is the most easy to use ? I'm on 11.0 firmware.

I'd prefer the R4i sdhc RTS card. I am using it quite well on my 3ds.

Get the R4i-SDHC 3DS RTS from http://r4i-sdhc.com, it's an awesome cart. There are a lot of different R4i Golds, and some of them suck. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GET ANY CART FROM http://r4isdhc.com

The r4i-sdhc.com is good, the r4isdhc.com sucks because of a time bomb. Essentially, they want money, so they make a new cart every year. If I'm not wrong, the current 2016 cart will work until 2018. Once the date is reached, it'll display an error, and you'll have to change the date back for it to function properly afterwards.
If you go for an R4i Gold, i recommend the one from this site: http://r4ids.cn

There are multiple carts with this name. The Gold is also good, but absolutely do not go for the ones from r4isdhc.com.

Buy from nds-card.com as they are reliable , most likely won't scam you and you'll be helping gbatemp!
Also, there's nothing wrong with r4isdhc cards

There is nothing wrong?! Although the time bomb can be removed, it's a dick move, and a very shitty business decision. You wouldn't catch me buying from them, just like I wouldn't get a Gateway, especially with their recent idiocy.

Yeah that's a dick move and I hate gateway guts but that r4i-gold you preach is a clone of the original r4 too
And it can be bypassed and the fact it is a flawless card beyond the time bomb makes it up.

???? I didn't complain about them being clones.... All current R4's are clones. I complained about the shitty business practice. At any rate, it doesn't matter. And the one I defend isn't really the R4i Gold from r4ids.cn, I personally own the R4i-SDHC 3DS RTS... My point stands. Just like with Gateway, I wouldn't buy it because of their shitty practices.

The R4i Gold from r4ids.cn is a clone, yet it doesn't have the time bomb and, just like the shitty R4iSDHC.com R4i Gold, works flawlessly.
Same with the R4i-SDHC 3DS RTS. Doesn't include a shitty time bomb, works flawlessly....

Price isn't a concern either, most of these carts go for less thsn 20€ anyway...

Just noticed the prices, what the hell is up with that? My R4i-SDHC 3DS RTS cost me less than 20€ including shipping from Spain. And afaik, the R4i-Gold from R4iDS.cn was slightly cheaper than the R4i-SDHC 3DS RTS; how the hell is it so expensive? O.o

Yeah, that's the problem with the fact that all the remaining DS flashcarts used the R4 name/branding. It's so stupid.

More specifically, you should get the R4i Gold that has "r4ids.cn" on the cart. That one uses Wood for its menu, which is really good.

meh, it doesn't matter too much. Both the r4ids.cn and r4i-sdhc.com are good carts, and don't do shitty stuff like r4isdhc.com. I like both of them.
