Hi i am new here. I have cfw and i notice that games from 2016 doesent start they get freeze in the 3ds screen logo. Why?

Follow this part of the guide to get SafeA9LHInstaller setup as a payload.

Once you get to Step 7 though, I want you uninstall A9LH.

If this works, you should no longer have A9LH, and should be able to boot into 2.1. Make sure you still have your OTP.bin for this console, we will need it later.
Edit: If for some reason you don't have your OTP.bin. Then follow this before attempting the below.

Once you have your OTP.bin continue with the rest of my info to get you out of your situation.

Now for the tricky part. You'll need a game with a 4.X.X or a 6.X.X update on it, if you can manage that, then you are in luck~! Yay~! If you can't go, then go and find one.

If they are the same region as your console, then open your eshop, and visit the game's page. Once this is done, exit back to the Home menu and try launching it again. If this doesn't work, try repairing the game from eshop (however, this really shouldn't be needed)

What's your setup? What is the CFW you are using right at this moment? Are you on A9LH system setup? Are you using Menuhax+RedNAND//EmuNAND setup? Give me the answers to this, and I can better answer your question.

Probably might be because that doesn't exist. You could try getting the -20 browser from the 9.2.0-20 update backs, but hell if I know if that'll work. I am also not sure why'd you want this. As it'll nag you to update.

Probably might be because that doesn't exist. You could try getting the -20 browser from the 9.2.0-20 update backs, but hell if I know if that'll work. I am also not sure why'd you want this. As it'll nag you to update.

I want to dump ram (not the rom) from some games and the only way I found was to use a browser exploit.

While in EmuNAND, go to System Settings -> Other Settings -> System Update. Again, make sure you are in EmuNAND. It should say RX-E in front of your system version.

Once that's done, boot back into EmuNAND, and you should be good to go.

However, consider switching away from rxTools. rxTools is dead, like dead dead. It's no longer being worked on, and one of these days it will break and you won't be able to update your EmuNAND any longer.

If you want to get rid of EmuNAND, and not have to worry about losing CFW ever again, consider investing time into A9LH.

Thanks for helping me again. Okay, so I do have an OTP.bin file which I did backed up, got that. I found Luigi's Mansion, used that which has the 4.5.0 firmware update and did as the guide mentioned going into updating it (my system settings is now 4.5.0-4U). I am just about to use rxTools-2.5.2 as mentioned above but I am going to check in with you if I am doing this correctly before I proceed.

Do 3DS mods (more specifically Sm4sh work on 11.0.0 33-U software (stock)? Can you get a 3DS at 11.0 on CFW with or without another 3DS that already has?

Shouldn't really matter. I'd say screen-init though. Anyways, the difference is just that no-screen-init doesn't have that flash when you boot it up, and looks more stock like. Luma3DS' chainloader should initialize any payloads that need initialization. Except GW, you'll need BootCTR9 for that, which I mentioned to you before.

I don't believe NTR can. I found a factory titles .NCCH on that ISO site. Do you know what this is and how I can use it? It also says Ticket and TMD needed.

Double check your files on your SD Card. Make sure they are all in the correct place. Then keep trying.

So i finally finished installing arm9 and am at the system transfer and it says both systems will be formatted. This wont remove my cfw will it?
