im very confused on how to actually download this. i have tried putting the files into my 3ds sd card but when i turn my 3ds on afterwards nothing happens. can someone help me with this? Also i have a new nintendo 3ds xl and my system version is 11.0.0-33u. i not sure if this information has anything to do with my 3ds having the capability to download this

YOu need a file called encTitleKeys.bin
It's copyrighted so we can't provide it here, you have to look for it with Google.

Once you find it, put it inside freeShop/ folder in your SD's root directory.

Apparently if you redownload a game that you already have installed, freeshop will delete the previous one and install it again.
I just did this with OoT 3D

Let's say you have a game already installed in your console via CIA.
What happens if you queue that very same game for install with freeShop?

It will delete the installed title (and ticket if it exists) and reinstall it from the beginning. You will most likely lose your savedata.

I'm going to be separating it into another list probably, but not sure exactly how I'm going to do it. So you can browse your installed games but they don't show up in main game list to be installed.

It will be with this list that you can do stuff like uninstall or install updates/dlc for titles already installed.

You need to have custom firmware to use this. On 11.0 the only way to downgrade is with a hardmod.

Yes, or you can use the encTitleKeys.bin updater homebrew.

Think I got a way to fill in more of those missing icons. Though it's a bit different for videos. But does anyone really care about those E3 Videos and Trailers lol? Seems like crap and clutter. Either way, once I implement genre sorting, you can hide videos (which is a genre it seems).

Is there a way for freeShop to not delete your game data? I accidentally pressed Fire Emblem Awakening to redownload it and I pressed X to stop it and it deleted the game and the game data along with it.

Pretty much, but improved in so many ways. I only reach 300 KB/s on CIAngel, 1.3 MB/s in FreeShop. FreeShop can also queue downloads and suspend them when exiting the app etc

Exactly! Ciangel I used to get 1000kb/s but for some reason around 2 days ago it dropped to 300kb/s

It is lacking many important features of CIAngel. For example updating title key info, and installing just tickets.

I have both and I can't seem to find DLC anywhere in Ciangel, only updates I think. Do you need to look somwehere specific?

I really like the GUI of the freeshop and the 3D banner, it would be cool if dlc or update support is added.

The latest update broke some things for me, I can't queue games anymore, it will add it to the queue but then disappear. I also think games will fail to install at the end if i use the search feature while installing a game. Not sure on that one but the first problem is for sure.
