That would suck. Is it really? I love the NTR veiwier and stuff. I would cry if it was gone.
yep...
NTR itself is discontinued.

Plugins can still continue to be made by other users.
i know but since ntr is closed source, time by time, it will miss the new advancaments in the scene

If it really is a dead project, why would the creator not make it open source?
I hope the creator comes back.

Is discontinued for now because they are working in something new (it says in their thread)
And back to thread, it would, but where would you save your data? I don't think it would make a folder named "toon link amiibo" for example.

Loading an external RomFS is already possible through the LayeredFS plugin (see CTGP-7 for example), so I'm pretty sure something similar would be possible with amiibo backups. Just put the backup in a folder (like "/amiibo/toonlink") and have the plugin load the amiibo from there.

Fucking Margen being such a dick to the dev
The dev acted like a child when he deleted the source code over one person "pestering" him. This isn't the place to argue this though and is off-topic for this thread.

OP, it may be possible to do what you're describing, but that would require reverse engineering how the NFC protocol works and would be a substantial effort.

Wait, really? Was the source online before?
Never (EDIT; Ninja'd)

No, NTR was never open source. The dev said that he "deleted the source to not give into blackmailers."

While I get the "don't negotiate with terrorists" attitude, it's still blowing everything out of proportion.
I see. So he deleted his own copy of it. (But I'm sure he has a backup somewhere! :P)
