Homebrew CIAngel stopped working?

Hey guys! Very new to the forum, mostly been just looking through and I gotta say...a lot of interesting and helpful stuff here....absolutely loving it!!

Anyway I was using CIAngel and it worked fine up until about 2 days ago...now when I try selecting a title instead of downloading it just instantly says its complete and then returns me to the main menu...has anyone else been experiencing anything like this?

I tried re-downloading wings.json...the download worked (I assume) but the problem persists....the only other things i have tried is restarting CIAngel which did not work so reset the whole 3ds and still nothing.

I am using and old 3ds xl.

The only thing I havent yet done and am considering doing is deleting it and re-installing? I guess I just wanted to know if anybody else is experiencing this and if it has been resolved? Do I need to update CIAngel regularly?

Works just fine here (tested with super mario kart just a few minutes ago). Please be sure you have the latest version of CIAngel which is 0.80. Also note that pre-releases won't work properly until the date of release due to seed issues. Finally, keep in mind some game such as SNES vc only work on a New 3DS.

if i dont have the latest version do i just delete and scan the QR code again?

You might have accidentally toggled create CIA mode. If you go into your favourite CIA installer and look in the CIAngel folder, you might find some .cia files there. You can toggle modes with either R or L (I forget). You want install mode.

If it was creating CIA files instead would it download everything instantly though? I'm talking about games that are around a gigabyte...my internet connection is good...but not that good haha...

It'll only download the game you ask it to.

Yeah ok I understand that...but when I say instantly I mean...instantly...a gigabyte would normally take me at least an hour to download...it says everything is done in less than a second...

Ah I see! Yeah sounds like something's wrong. Ask on the release thread, cearp and Drakia are usually pretty helpful!

Sounds like you have it on install ticket mode

Yeah , if you have it on create ticket mode, it's super fast.
Just go to the eshop and search the game you tried to install.
Then you can install it from eshop

Haven't you already gotten in trouble for your completely useless off topic posts before? Not the time or place.

@cleanboy, make sure you don't have "Ticket" mode enabled. You can change modes with L. Tickets are used for people who want to use the eShop itself to do the download (It allows "Redownloading" from the eShop), instead of using CIAngel itself.
