I don't know exactly, can be cryptofix thing if you're on a New 3DS. Just reparing the app on the eShop mostly solved my problems.

Whether he's on N3DS or O3DS doesn't change a thing. If the game uses the new encryption, then it can be simply fixed by going to the game's eshop page. If it's an out of region game, then he'll need the seed.db or a cryptofixed CIA.

If it was a region problem, the game wouldn't even show up in the HOME menu :^)

Hmmmmmm yeah that is true, forgot about that. Still, region filtering would really help. When you search certain games you get duplicates but no indication of region. This app is still awesome though!

Either you're on the wrong region, depends on which game he means, or trying to repair the game via eShop's game page doesn't have any effect.

I've seen you mention repair a few times now, and just wanted to let you know it's wrong/not needed. If it's a cryptofix issue for a local region game, just visiting the eShop page is all that's required, repair is never needed.

If it's an out of region title, just go to the Titles list in FBI, select the game, and choose the Seed option.

1 - why some games dont have banners? i mean, there is 2 entries of kirby dream land , one with banner and other dont
2 - why some games have 2 entries? and making some test, one of them doesnt work in my 3ds (o3ds + a9lh + luma 3ds)
3 - its possible to add dsiware games in later releases?

Heh, a bit unrelated but that amiibo app is a bit interesting. It boots you into some sort of debug menu, and pressing B leads you to an amiibo screen. There's a ? block on the top screen, and when you tap an amiibo to the screen, Mario punches the block and then a colored coin themed off a Mario character randomly appears. You can't use the same amiibo multiple times, though.

Anyone get that Angry Videogame Nerd game working with any other game installer? I thought it was a crypto seed issue, but even deleting ticket and reinstalling with FBI/CIAngel makes it freeze in beginning.

Depends on your CFW. The most popular ones have region free built in (Luma, ReiNAND and RX), so it shouldn't cause any problems, except if the game uses the new encryption. In this case you'll need to find the seed.db for this game.

It's got RF built in since V3.5 or so, which was released ~2 month ago :^)

huuum.... as i said above, i'm using luma 3ds... which have built in region free patch, i guess
by the way isnt a problem to me... i just asked for curiosity

Repairing in eShop worked. Then I uninstalled the ticket and reinstalled with freeShop and it worked. I'm just a newb and thought seeds were linked to tickets. Nevermind me, still learning stuff about this. And still not sure why FBI installing didn't work when it's supposed to write the seed...
