ROM Hack Monster Hunter 4 wont run on o3ds but runs fine on n3ds.

Hi. I have recently installed a Monster Hunter 4 ultimate cia on my o3ds and it just gives me a black screen. I tried installing a different cia but same result. I tried to install it on my n3ds and to my suprise the game actually booted and I was able to play fine.
My question is how come my o3ds can't run it?

Sounds like your CFW doesn't have the reboot patch enabled. In Luma it's enabled by default on o3DS, in Cakes I believe you have to enable it in the menu.

Are you sure it's up to date? The demo is working right for me on O3DS.

Yup my sysnand is running 11.0 and my Luma3ds is v5.4

The old 3DS has to reboot in order to play Smash and Monster Hunter. Whatever cfw you're using isn't optimized for reboot patches to work. Try another cfw until you can figure out how to get Luma3DS working.
