This is for everyone still on RxTools for noobish reasons. Please stop using RxTools, it is very outdated by this point, and most of the community will not be able to help you with your problems while you are on the CFW. Switch to either CakesFW or Luma3DS, as they both get frequent updates (cakes gets nightlies and Luma gets hourlies).

For Upgrading to Luma3DS; https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/wiki/Installation-and-Upgrade

Luma3DS; https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/releases
Nightlies: http://bit.ly/1WHc87W
CakesFW: https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-cakesfw.391200/
Nightlies: http://ny1.hashbang.sh:8834/nightly/

The other CFW's have way more useful features at this point, and they are much better for gaming purposes. You can do all the dumping features RxTools has with Decrypt9, plus more. You can run non-a9lh CFW sysNAND easily with MiniPasta or the regular PastaCFW. Trust me, upgrading to a CFW with more frequent updates, and a larger user base, will make it much easier for most of the community to help you with technical issues, and other maintenance things.
EDIT: Only didn't include duke_srg's fork because it's not officially released yet (still in prereleases/alpha) still check it out here.
EDIT: Because y'all are getting really butthurt, here's a clarification; this is specifically about the Roxas75 fork of RxTools, that hasn't gotten updates since February 10th.

I see no reason why people who have everything already set up how they want it would need to change. Sure RxTools doesnt have all the features as Cakes and Luma, but it does what I want it to and it doesnt give me any problems. If I have an issue that I cant find the answer to, then I'll change. This thread should be aimed at people who are just starting with CFW, not people who are already on it

You know RXTools now has support and a working dev updating it right? Meaning users should just switch their current build over to the new build here.
Now if this were a few weeks ago, I would have agreed with you. But since there is someone still supporting it, I wouldn't suggest people leave it if they still want to use it.

I can agree. Back when downgrading first released for 10.3 I downgraded and used rxTools and it was such a pain in the ass to use I actually updated back to 10.3. I retried the process later on with reiNand (this was before AuReiNand/Luma3DS and A9LH) once I heard the 9.6 limitation was patched, and it worked so much better.

It makes things harder for the rest of the community to help people when they shitpost their problems about RxTools on this section, because RxTools is very outdated and doesn't provide any of the fixes for numerous bugs that other CFW's have provided for a while now.

what abour reinand
ReiNAND is minimalistic; it works, it fixes bugs, it gets frequent updates, but it doesn't provide a ton of the patches that Cakes and Luma provide. Auto patching is better for noobs anyway, because it takes the confusion right out of everything.

if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
I wouldn't call no releases since February "ain't broke"

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Also you can't just tell what the community should stop using. Its basically saying [PSA] Please stop using Emunand. And no matter what you tell us we're not going to stop because its all up to user preference

tl;dr: no and you're a dick
Ignoring the fact that both Luma3DS and CakesFW both have emuNAND support, CakesFW more primarily.

It would be hard if it didn't. Expect it does have updates again. Someone is supporting RXTools again, so instead of telling people to not use RXTools, just suggest they move to a supported version here.

I am aware that they support emunand. Its still up to user preference. Maybe they don't want Reinand Luma or Cakes. Plus most cfw guides use RxTools.

You can't force us to use a cfw if you don't think its good. Nobody gives a shit about your opinion anyways
Mmmm try checking every support question about Roxas75's rxtools since two weeks ago.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Are you just going to keep ignoring my posts? Because RXTools now has a supported build that people can start using.
