Just test values until you get what you want.
Damn man that's not much help. Found it in Hex and compared values in the editor.

Avatar Boon/Bane/Talent in the hex editor is in the RawEndBlock section Values 10A -10C (05-07 for F!Kana)

Question,how exactly did you decide on the 100 unit limit?

The game can easily handle more than that.

It was a guess, and I recall hearing it at some point. I also know I've gotten to a point where the game wouldn't let me recruit any more units. If someone can find out what the actual limit is, I'll change it. It might be more complex than just an absolute number of units.

The game stops you from recruiting at 100 I think but you can actually have more
Take off the restrictions so I can have more Midori ;-;

@DeathChaos25: How did you get 116? I'm guessing some of those were added manually by your custom DLC, but you haven't made 16 characters yet, have you?

There is more to consider, as well, like whether the limit applies to living and dead units combined or not.

Here's another release, mostly brought to you by @RainThunder. Give this man some applause!

* Add: You can now edit support levels on a per-unit basis. In case you want your units' support ranks to spell "ASS" over and over, all the way down. Direct all thanks to RainThunder for adding this one!
* Change: The unit max is now 255. A warning will show if you try to add a 101st. I don't actually know how max units are implemented, so go past 100 at your own risk!
* Fix: Don't crash when loading Global saves with fewer than 65 characters unlocked in the support log
* Fix: Change the icon of Vanguard Brand from skill scroll to class changer. Thanks, Thunder Kai!

(And yes, @Gender, this should work fine with the EU version, if previous posts in this thread are anything to go by.)

I took my current Conquest save from Chapter 11, I had whoever you would normally have at that point, I took my yet to rejoin Kaze and turned him from a "hasn't returned" Kaze to a current party bond unit, then I exported said bond unit, and imported it over and over until the editor wouldn't allow me, I was basically getting every class with their generic portraits, then after getting those 100 units, I went into my logbook and recruited whatever units I had in it, which where the extra 16, the game allowed me to recruit them just fine.

As for the generic portraits, the female variant of the generic class actually just reuses the male generic portrait, kinda disappointing but expected.
