inb4 @Margen67Hello its me again i am running sysnand and rxtools on a 9.2.0.20U, i am currently having trouble with httpwn, i keep hearing good things about A9LH, what exactly does A9LH do?
It can be fully updated and STILL be better than emuNAND. It has almost no limitationscan it bypass sysupdate?
i dont want to update past 9.6.0 so i can install cia files onto my 3dsi already have rxtools and sysnand installed, will i be able to connect to the internet like on alpha saphire? if i install a9lh, also i would like a guide
I would recommend not trying it unless you have a o3ds which can directly be downgraded system version 2.1, if its N3ds I am sure its even more susceptible to bricks than my o3ds which got bricked because I tried that otp helper step in the guide, basically you have to merge emuNAND with sysNAND to access system version 2.1 "safely", you save like 2 hours not trying that, if you have a o3ds just by making a sysNAND backup then directly downgrading to get the otp works 100%, anyways if its a N3ds you have to follow the guide as closely as possible and make sure that you haven't tampered with emuNAND or RedNAND which I guess you already have which can with a high chance lead to a brick unless you're coming off of a vanilla N3ds to get A9lh to work, which means starting from scratch and getting to CFW which is what the guide is aimed at, and not at existing users of CFW on menuhax+EmuNand setup which I assume you are using.Hello its me again i am running sysnand and rxtools on a 9.2.0.20U, i am currently having trouble with httpwn, i keep hearing good things about A9LH, what exactly does A9LH do?

If its a o3ds and if you know what you are doing you can get your otp in like 10 mins, you just need a sysNAND backup to get back to what firmware your system was before you downgrade it to 2.1, the only reason for this is if you have in anyway or form tampered with your emuNAND it can lead to errors while merging it with your Sysnand which bricks any 3ds 99% of the time, I am just wondering why people haven't made a guide to downgrade straight to 2.1 on a o3ds without all the hassle of formatting then setting and then formatting a emuNAND, this gave me a idea of writing a guide of my own for o3ds specific people.im just looking for something so i can connect to the internet on alpha saphire, i tried ctr but it will not work for some reason

thanks now, do i need to update my rxtools and emunand while updating? im also confused on how to install a9lhW/ a9lh, you can install CIA files on any firmware
please do i am a tard when it comes to reading guides like thisNope
Just follow everything (maybe start at the beginning if you are worried. I would)

Youtube guides are outdated. You should read Plailect's guide instead.please do i am a tard when it comes to reading guides like this
Only need to install GBA/DS CIAs once
arm9 gives your 3ds cocaine and makes it load at warp drive velocity.Hello its me again i am running sysnand and rxtools on a 9.2.0.20U, i am currently having trouble with httpwn, i keep hearing good things about A9LH, what exactly does A9LH do?
This doesn't have a lot to do with a9lh, only with a no-emuNAND/redNAND configuration. I obviously agree that a sysNAND-only configuration is tons less annoying with a9lh (no need to manually boot something through unreliable means everytime the 3DS is turned on) but still, those two arguments are not really a9lh exclusives. And they are not even guaranteed with a9lh either since the user can still use an emuNAND or a redNAND.Only need to install GBA/DS CIAs once
Save space on the SD card
Your statement seems a bit contradicting. Before A9LH, emunand/rednand was the only way to hack past 9.2... allowing for CIA installation and the like. Its not like theres A9LH, emunand peasants, and then some third option using neither. A9LH is the only hack method that provides the advantages listed. And while its not a forced feature.. it IS still a feature that is A9LH exclusive.. which basically makes your point invalid. This doesn't have a lot to do with a9lh, only with a no-emuNAND/redNAND configuration. Now yeah, you can say "emuNAND/redNAND is bullshit, sysNAND masterrace", yeah if you want, but this doesn't mean sysNAND-only is a forced feature of a9lh.
