Can you help me with my post above? Where would "snd_bgm_Z10_F_Captain.nus3bank" be located?

Never mind, I figured it out

They aren't in Sm4shexplorer. You can find them by locating your dump and go to content/sound/bgm

I want to know as well. Don't want characters to go mute.

I mean, I wouldn't be entirely opposed to replacing male Corrin instead of adding more female slots, but I still want to know. Especially for mods like Classic fox, which I definitely want new voices on.

Here's a mod I'm working on right now. Mainly trying to get the CSS to look like Project M's

The only problem is that after all the characters show up, the orange background on the icons show up. Is there any way to disable the effect?

Ask that in Sm4sh Wii U Modding and Help Center.

The regular background is coded in as a color (orange or blue depending on customs, I think it's 'bg_1' and 'bg_2' in the code but I couldn't find anything else on it), a scrolling alpha overlay (found in ui/lumen/chara/img-00001.nut), and a scrolling round light. The small background images in img-00000.nut are probably loading placeholders of some sort. I don't know how to properly edit or mine chara.lm or texlist.lst yet, so that's all I've got.

Yo, I need some help.
I've been installing some mods. CSS mods and sound mods seems to work fine, but whenever I try to install a stage overhaul or custom textures, nothing happends. Literally nothing. The custom textures don't show up in game, and I have no idea why (except for 1, which is really weird.) I've followed every step in the TS4M's tutorial. I've even reinstalled all the mods more than 3 times.

Does anyone maybe know what's the problem here? If I'm doing anything wrong? Thanks.

Are you importing the mods with Smash4Explorer?

I tried that, the original css and mine have the same size but it still freezes for some reason.
Don't generate a mipmap.

You need Sm4shExplorer to be able to inject your own hacks into Smash. There's no other way right now.
Honestly I feel like smash explorer is the best smash hacking tool to date for what it does. As far as accessing files and taking a mod of without removing the original file. So I hope we don't end up abandoning it ever

Does anyone have the japanese snd_se_narration_characall_Kamui.nus3bank?

I'd like for the announcer to say Kamui rather than Corrin, but I have no japanese smash to dump. I'm sure someone has it. Many thanks.

I did notice something with characters with multiple soundbanks (Corrin, Jr.): each of those sound banks has a separete selection in the Sound Test. Could that be part of the issue?
