That's what I though, it seems you got gold tires by collecting 15000 coins, I did 14990 in order to complete 15000 at the end, but it saved my progress, never got the notice, and still can't get the tires.

It works with glider though, not sure why it does with one but not the other.

I was talking about having 10 coins during a race at all times even when you take damage, and I can adjust my total coin count with JGeckoU.

No, but I'm going for everything else before it first, the last milestone before the gold tires at 10,000 coins is 2,700 coins.

It seems you either get gold tires by beating the ghosts or by coins, whatever comes first

You realize there are unlock all codes/cheats? Just look at Mario Kart 8 Trainer.

Wanted to finish the next code handler release, but I have noticed a problem with 5.5.X consoles. the highjacked .rpl has a bigger size now so the codehandler overwrites a part of it and causes the system to freeze sometime sooner or later.
Maybe soon wj44 can find a way to load my code handler with tcpgecko.elf (for some odd reason compiling .elf files doesn't work for me). That'd be the best solution to ensure compatibility with all FWs.

Trying to find some stuff on ZombiU via TCPgecko, however every time I click on "Refine" for finding a specific value, TCPgekco will lose it's connection while scanning. Reconnecting not possible anymore then.

Any specific reason for that behavior?

I think it's region free, but make a save backup before launching the script.

A similar unlock everything hack is included in Mario Kart 8 Trainer, but it reverts all the progress once the game is saved and booted again. Maybe it use the same process? Did you try it?

Oh yeah it's true, I think the MK8 trainer use the same offset.
So I think it's better to use it.

@Famicon my friend, I went the long route of beating every Nin★Ghost, it was fairly easy, just had problems with Rainbow Road (Wii U one) I just had to activate the speed code during strights, pause and deactivate in sharp turns, rinse and repeat, kinda tedious but worked in the end

Yeah I know I ended up stopping everyone versus making myself faster in Grand Prix, but you can't stop a ghost. Especially since their course time is already set. Congrats!
