Mind if I update OP to include the fact that RedNAND has technically been released, but needs an IOSU exploit to run it? It would replace most of the text under "When will emuNAND be developed and released?"

(I poked the OP with a stick and snuck some info about what "RedNAND" is under the EmuNAND definition, but I didn't want to do anything to drastic without asking first)
Yeah, do it up. For the people, by the people. Let's make GBA Temp great again!™

OP = organophosphate
???? I haven't been on here in a long time to be honest because I updated. Started going on here though http://loadiine.ovh/index.php?l=777 and its says wupinstaller don't work on 5.5.X. Also, is NUSgrabber still needed to update games? I don't need it right now but in case I need an update what do I do?

I feel silly for asking, but I tried searching around and it isn't helping.

Is there a homebrew that makes the console region free? I have a JP disc of Xenoblade X I'd like to play with (and use Saviine to inject a save file).

You could dump it and then play it with loadiine

Yeah, that one. Loadiine is by nature region free. There's nothing currently available to play discs of a different region, though

I mean, Hykem never said he wasn't working on it, right? He just disappeared. Last thing we know is that he said he wasn't coming back until it's finished. Maybe I missed something. That section could be cleaned up a bit though.

The DefinitivePackage is dead though. There's no reason to not just use the Homebrew Launcher, and I've linked all the hacks to their respective GitHub download pages and threads so that people can always grab the latest version!
Very true... And I still hope he is, but it's hard to believe that he still is. The Definitive Package being dead is understandable. Thanks for your contribution while it lasted!

Use The NEW NUSGrabberGUI or JNUSTool to download updates, but yes, you still download via PC and put them on your SD. Loadiine GX2 supports a different format for using various updates though, so you should go read up on that in the Loadiine GX2 OP.

I haven't tried thought it was the same as the site but i'll try
I thought it had the same compatibility as the Homebrew Launcher. Maybe I'm wrong. Please let me know when you try!

I can not get Loadiine GX2 to play nice with Splatoon, any help?
Search the Loadiine GX2 thread, or at least be a lot more specific with the problem and what you've tried.

Since the Wii U doesn't recognize out-of-region discs to play them, I believe you also can't dump them?

Did the research and wow, that's a a shame. The only download for the Japanese version I've found goes at like 40 KB/sec and would take forever to download. Even more because it's broken up into 60 pieces.

Man, Nintendo really does not want people playing games from other regions.

Plus all bios are set up and usually includes at least 128gbs or 64
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah but if your main goal is just to play n64 and GameCube you can save about $50 and have the portability option

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
True, but on 2 monitors at 4k. Its just want you want really, to each they own.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
For a kids aspect Anbernic would be the better option they'd probably melt over the price on a good 4k display

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
For that texasroo guy, I'd recommend the Spell and speak as his first system.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
So they buy a pi5 kit for about $150 and say a 28" 4k display probably looking around $400 total
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
They'll be getting in the territory of portable Pcs anyway

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Again you get what you pay for, its like buying a S series for $300 but its only 1440p native, if you want true 4k, gotta get the X model for $500. But yea you right, when moms buying it anyways, you gotta stay cheap.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
They could use HD out on their TV no real need for a monitor these days tbh the purists will disagree
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I'm kind of phasing out on the need for wanting all these consoles cool to have but they just become dust build ups
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I here ya there, I have too many myself, and have hard time letting them go, since most of mine I've modded at some point. Anymore I just play Switch on the go, seriesx at home.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Oh totes , lol, like Tupperware storage, I gotcha
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I'm designing my own entertainment cabinet for my man cave, to store all my systems, then I'm also designing a power supply/HDMI switcher so I can switch to whichever system I want, and power it also. Already picked up the cabinet board, but tinkering with my drawings before start
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
But yea, I have frogger arcade cabinet that I gutted and put a Pi4 then Pi5 into, but it never gets played much anymore, should sell it. Even when the kids come over, they don't want to play on it, just the xbox. TMNT and Simpson's arcade is still so fun on it, esp w 2 players.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
