It supports the latest update but some ways to get to the homebrew channel are broken because of the update for the time being.Im sorry if im asking you a dumb question.

Is there any way to make sure it's an incomplete update though?frankenfirm

reinand blocks native firm from upgrade or downgrade that is why the update fails. and why it fails so quickly the second time as its just trying to update that.Is there any way to make sure it's an incomplete update though?
The thing is, when you switch to another CFW it says the system is up to date.reinand blocks native firm from upgrade or downgrade that is why the update fails. and why it fails so quickly the second time as its just trying to update that.
thats because it can still boot with a lower Nfirm. Homemenu has the system version info. since that updated it will say latestThe thing is, when you switch to another CFW it says the system is up to date.

1. you can update reinand to 11.0.0 fineThank you guys so much.
There are 2 things i just want to confirm for sure.
1. I have read before that reiNAND on New3DS only supports up to 10.5 firmware version. Can i update to 11.0.0 without any problem ?
2. Are menuhax and browserHax broken ?

1. you can update reinand to 11.0.0 fine
2. browser/menu hax work on 9.2 which is required to run reinand, menu and browser are only broken anywhere past 10.5
have you tried fixing your network setup works fine here.So can anyone with reiNAND 4.0 on a N3DS confirm that they are able to install cia's remotely?
Neither FBI or Fbrony seem to have this functionality on either 10.7 or 11.0
I've tried just about everything without luck.
Thanks for any help!
And it's intentionally coded this way. Blame Rei if you want to.the update fails
have you tried fixing your network setup works fine here.
though i am on luma even though that should not make a single difference
And the reason for this is......????And it's intentionally coded this way. Blame Rei if you want to.
I don't think it's my network.
I have an Old 3DSXL that I installed RXtools on and I can remotely install cia's with my android devices or my PC.
I'm happy running my N3ds with the reiNAND emuNAND but not being able to remotely install cia's is a deal breaker for me.
Taking the back cover off and swapping out the microSD gets old real fast.
Might jump to another CFW to resolve this if it is a reiNAND bug.

Making the firm write function return an error on purpose and what @squee666 said. And the reason for this is......????
Just checked. Using other CFW on the partially upgraded NAND and trying to update again does indeed update NATIVE_FIRM to 2.51-0 even though it says the system is up to date, so it becomes a fully updated 11.0 NAND.thats because it can still boot with a lower Nfirm. Homemenu has the system version info. since that updated it will say latest
yeah but thats a stupid requirement atm you may aswell stick to the other CFWJust checked. Using other CFW on the partially upgraded NAND and trying to update again does indeed update NATIVE_FIRM to 2.51-0 even though it says the system is up to date, so it becomes a fully updated 11.0 NAND.
