Im sorry if im asking you a dumb question.
I have been on 9.2 emuNand for a long time on my N3ds.
What is the latest version which reiNAND supports ? I think it's 10.5 ??

ReiNand supports the latest version (11.0.0-33 at the time of this writing).

Thanks for that catch! I was planning on installing A9LH on my older JP N3DS later this evening. I would've been swearing up a storm if I'd had to watch a downgrade fail over and over.

reinand blocks native firm from upgrade or downgrade that is why the update fails. and why it fails so quickly the second time as its just trying to update that.

The thing is, when you switch to another CFW it says the system is up to date.

thats because it can still boot with a lower Nfirm. Homemenu has the system version info. since that updated it will say latest

1. I have read before that reiNAND on New3DS only supports up to 10.5 firmware version. Can i update to 11.0.0 without any problem ?
2. Are menuhax and browserHax broken ?

Actually it's Nver and Cver that determine what version is displayed. There is no home menu update in 11.0. See for yourself. That hasn't changed since 10.6. It looks updated because Nver and Cver are updated (it's possible to spoof your FW version by installing just those, and people used to update Nver to fake out the eShop, but it's no longer necessary). NATIVE_FIRM is most of the update (though Friends and IR also got updated)

Well, a non-A9LH system has to have a 4.1-9.2 SysNAND to run CFW (though it has to be 9.0-9.2 to also run MenuHax). There's no such requirement for A9LH. I assure you ReiNAND doesn't need my 9.2 EmuNAND. Gateway still does though, so it's not like it's going anywhere SOON "MenuHax is only broken for those with an unmodified system on 10.6 or higher" might be the best way to put it. Well, it probably won't run on an updated A9LH SysNAND, but there's not much reason to do that.

Neither FBI or Fbrony seem to have this functionality on either 10.7 or 11.0
I've tried just about everything without luck.

have you tried fixing your network setup works fine here.

though i am on luma even though that should not make a single difference

I don't think it's my network.
I have an Old 3DSXL that I installed RXtools on and I can remotely install cia's with my android devices or my PC.
I'm happy running my N3ds with the reiNAND emuNAND but not being able to remotely install cia's is a deal breaker for me.
Taking the back cover off and swapping out the microSD gets old real fast.
Might jump to another CFW to resolve this if it is a reiNAND bug.

Well he forgot /lol/ to make a release of the latest Commit

The latest release doesnt block Nfirm
Nfirm is the reason people cant downgrade to 2.1 because it fails
Its also the reason atm people are getting FrankenFirm updating to 11.0

But hey he said himself he is too busy for a 5 second push

Making the firm write function return an error on purpose and what @squee666 said.

Moreover converting a pointer to an integer to only convert it back to a pointer later instead of using pointers to pointers isn't a good coding practise. But hey, I forgot that Rei was a coding god (/s)

Just checked. Using other CFW on the partially upgraded NAND and trying to update again does indeed update NATIVE_FIRM to 2.51-0 even though it says the system is up to date, so it becomes a fully updated 11.0 NAND.
