I think so too !When I started I didn't want to touch CFW at all (as well as many other things finally refactored now ), hoping people will join. Polishing the rest by myself could take about 2 more month...
So maybe a little help wit A9LH from @Aurora Wright?
Any function may be added, just after the existing old is revised. Or at the same time with the old, since unification is done. For example, refactored NAND partition detection allowed simple multi-emunand any partition dump/restore/xorpad feature to be added just with a simple gui.json edit with no code change at all (working now). Or TMD-based NUS application check allowed to automatically detect needed MSET/H&S app to inject - the actual injection feature is WIP but you can see in Advanced->Install MSET4 only your region package will be enabled (needs /nus/000400100002?000/tmd.* and actual application content to be placed there, but one could download full pack of DG packages and don't care which is for what region).
So just point me on exact features not exist in rxTools now and you need to have.
* format new emunand :on a clean SD is doable, even needed for multi-emunand creation. With data rearrangement (i.e. shrinking existing SD partition) - is low priority task.I think some good stuff could be

* encrypt/decrypt 3ds rom (not only cia): Expand this one please - only decrypt container, cryptofix or split/combine partitions (and pack/unpack RomFS contents?)
* Import seed.db on emunand: also doable
The rest is more a CFW features, can's say for sure now.
P.S. Implementing NAND-to-NAND and Partition-to-Partition copy now...
Thats kinda something you could already do... using nchinfo.bin to generate XOrpads...encrypt/decrypt 3ds rom i mean to make playable roms for citra
For myself:I think some good stuff could be
* format new emunand
* encrypt/decrypt 3ds rom (not only cia)
* Better gba/dsi support if possible (without installing patched files on sysnand)
* Boot rate like version 3 beta 2 (old rxtools 2.6 and previous got stuck on black screen many times)
* Patches like Cakes (e.g playing a gba/ds game on emunand crashes ds mset entrypoint and have to reinstall in order to boot emunand via mset. on the other hand Cakes have solved this issue)
* Import seed.db on emunand
* Update firm0/1 protection
Two request for seed handling in a row, I'd definitely work that out just after finished with NAND copy and file copy/inject/dump finished soon.
BTW, don't hesitate to test the existing features in the compatibility chart since I only have an O3DS with no hardmod and not really much time to test it all.
No, reading 2 page manual with a bunch of tools required to rip several bytes pisses me off.Do you at least have a9lh (I hope you do, otherwise you are screwed when it comes to bricking) on your o3ds?

If you won't use SysNAND or SysNAND partition restore, it is relatively safe since the rest I've checked personally. SysNAND writes uses the same routines so just needs to be confirmed with hardmoded device tests.With this process you can only make cia version

I do not have hardmod. Are the releases stable enough to use them or they are risky yet?
So you set the language to Italian but no change? This is since there is no translation except a language name for most of the displayed languages, the existing translation is from the old rxTools and is not compatible.I own an old 3ds hardmod.la first operation carried out was to set the language for my country, it is clear from the outset that no work.big menu, you can perform many operations, but will work ....?
In test....
Will it support a9lh?
Please see the Roadmap section of the head post and search the topic for a9lh, it has been discussed. In short SoonTM if someone will join project shortly.you should add a9lh sysnand support if possible
