What is everyone's recommendation of a nice, but not too expensive, 128GB microSD card? I don't know how long it'll be before we start getting ext HDD support, but I figure, I could get a 128GB microSD, use it now, then whenever USB support happens, I could then stuff that microSD into my o3DS, or whatever sort of handheld device comes along. Not looking into a regular-sized SD card.

I use a 32GB microSD, don't waste you money

His needs for space are probably larger than your own. Wii U games consume a bit of space, so if they're looking to get one, it should probably be 64 or 128.

Buy a micro SDXC, it says it's not compatible, but it can be formatted to fat32 to work just like any other SD, and they tend to run a lot cheaper. I got a 64 GB for 16 bucks.

I understand the need to format to fat32. I also know to go for sdxc (if going for greater than 32GB). I recall my dad thinking he got a swell deal with a 64GB microSD some time back, but when I inspected it, it was marked with SDHC, which certainly meant it as fake (as well as having done a test that revealed it to only be 8GB, but addressed to overlap itself 8 times to make it act like 64GB).

I got that 64gb samsung evo+
I got the sandisk ultra for my 3ds a couple months back but the evo+ seems to be better from what I've read, and it was cheaper to get the evo+ on BB than the ultra on Amazon. Though I had gift cards to cover them on either site, happier to use the BB one since I'm less likely to buy things there.
