Next week. A few pages ago, someone who had talked with him on Twitter or whatever said this release would get delayed 1 week. Hopefully because of something new /big. I'm rooting for multiple controller support :-)

Edit: for patreons. 2 weeks for official release.

2 weeks from now? ):

We looked into the issue and we can say with 99.9% confidence that it's not a problem in CEMU but rather a bug in the driver. At best, CEMU 1.4.2 will have some sort of workaround at the cost of emulation speed.

Yet it started happening to me between CEMU versions but with the SAME AMD driver version... I can get by it after a bunch of retries, sometimes...

I have an r9 380x and I am experiencing crashes with Mario Kart 8 too, sometimes it even freezes my PC
I feel that I should point out that the ones experiencing crashes when loading a course in MK8 don't seem to be having crashing issues in other [currently working] games and also seem to have Intel CPUs in the compatibility list in my sig and various threads in r/cemu.

Also I'm still tempted to make my own version of your earlier video. :P
I just went crazy running 3 instances of Cemu at the same time lol

Surprisingly it runs quite well.

Edit- Added a few links to my initial post.

What is the twitter account?

Do you have preGCN card?

I have an R9 280X.

Indeed. This crashing issue is -only- happening in MK8 when loading a course.

Well, I honestly don't understand why some AMDs GPUs are affected and some (like mine) are not. I tried to find some logic, but it's beyond me.

I gave up trying to find a logical answer for performance in Cemu when running a video in the background/having VCL open nearly doubled/tripled my fps back in 1.4.0c and I couldn't figure out why and why that was the only thing that worked. :rofl2:
The -ONLY- link between everyone mentioning/experiencing crashes in MK8 that I've found however is that they are using an AMD GPU with an Intel CPU in r/cemu and the r/cemu compatibility list, and even then I only noted it for the latter because I'm the one who added their submissions to the list.

Hey guys can you help me? I found a pretty cheap Windows 10 and it has this:
Processor: AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-56 1.80 GHz
Installed Memory (RAM): 2.00 GB (1.75 GB Usable)
System Type: 32-bit Operating System, x64-base processor
Will it work good with Cemu?

Weak and it's 32 bit. Cemu, along with Citra 3DS, are compatible to 64 bit and 4GB.

It's 32 bit, the program won't even start. It'll just give you an error telling you that you tried to run a 64-bit program on a 32-bit OS. You could try seeing if it's possible to upgrade to 64-bit. Also, 2GB is too small, and may crash your computer. I would upgrade the RAM to 8GB.

How about this?
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T7500 @ 2.20GHz 2.20 GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 4.00 GB
System Type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
(I would have the minimum ram to use Cemu)

Well. It will run. But random crashes occur when using Integrated Processor.

Any idea of average speed on these games (the only games ill play in cemu)?
  • New Super Mario Bros. U
  • Mario Kart 8
  • Super Mario 3D World
  • Super Mario Maker
With a Core 2 Duo at that clock speed, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the highest frame rate you'll hit will be ~45fps, and it will be on the two sidescrolling Mario games and MAYBE occasionally on 3D world
