Oh really?!
Damn him for trolling me.

Anyway, how well does Conker perform?
Does it still have the missing nose and such?
Also, I would like to ask about DK64.
well i tryed banjo kazzoie, tooie and conker.

they all sem to be graphicaly correct now conker still has the ocasional music slowdown and tooie sometimes goes between 0.8x,0.9x and 1.0 it depends on the maps but they all seem graphicaly correct now if you use fb texture on. kazooie now doesnt seem to need fb textures since the mole holes are fixed without them now aparently.

Let me know please. :P
I'm at work, I can't test the shit out of it (wish I could)

DK64 boots but uh....vertices pop out and they seem to get "stuck" and there are missing polygons...weird

Edit: Banjo Tooie is an absolute mess, only models, white ground, not sure why.

Edit 2: Mystical Ninja 64 boots, first time it ever ran on here :P

Am unable to test until weekend - please can someone check if Castlevania 64 still crashes after starting the gameplay?

Games I tested:

Banjo Kazooie: Perfect speed, audio, you need to enable Framebuffer to see the jigsaw puzzle effects
Banjo Tooie: Shows title screen and new game can be started, but the world objects are missing
Conker's Bad Fur Day: Almost perfect, some slowdown
Donkey Kong 64: World objects seem to half disappear, poking/stretching vertices from models
Goemon's Great Adventure: Crashes after starting new game
Goldeneye 007: Almost perfect, missing sky textures as they should be a gradient blue
Hyrbid Heaven: Almost perfect, minor audio stutter
Mystical Ninja 64: Playable, slow, graphical glitches, this is the first time the game ever booted up
Perfect Dark: Playable, slow

you can fix banjo tooie by enabling fb textures like always was needed.

Wait, you mean you can make the world appear normally instead of all white? Huh, weird. When I loaded a new game, it showed nothing but their models and then no textures for the ground, sky, water, it was all pure white  I'll try that method tomorrow, I'll attempt to capture video :P

I haven't touched my Wii in years!

Can somebody remind me how to install this?

On your SD card, there will be a folder called apps:

Once you've download the Not64 file, extract it, and there will be two folders,
One is called apps with an not64 folder, and the other just not64.

They will need to be placed accordingly:

SD:/apps/not64 (merge this with an already-existing apps folder, if not, make one on the root of the SD card)
SD:/not64/ ( this is where you will place the ROMs, save files, and have folders for them in here already made)

I hope this helps jog your memory :P

Then you load it up in the Homebrew Channel, yeah, it's all about placement, and the ROMs will go in SD:/not64/ROMs and no prob! :P Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you! Can I use a GCN controller with Not64, or does it only work with a Wii Classic Controller?

As far as I know, pretty sure it can be used just fine, but to bring up the menu, it's a button combination, I forgot what it is, I can't test it at the moment, sorry >.< But again, no prob ^^

I don't listen? What didn't I listen at? I just want to know all the possible risks on that part

Hayato even said it's dangerous to backup the save files to CFW
  • A @ ATEMVEGETA:
how is this dangerous? A ton of people did this it's the most common thing to do with CFW

For example, HOW is is risky to get banned if you extract the save files to the CFW?
  • A @ ATEMVEGETA:
isn't this proccess be done while you're offline?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
We are not Nintendo, so we don't know exactly how/why/when they ban, but better to stay on the safe side and not do shady stuff, if you don't want to be banned. Hayato is one of the most knowledgeable ones here on the subject and I believe what he says.

  • A @ ATEMVEGETA:
@BigOnYa, Yes ofc we don't know how Nintendo bans work, but if there are situations where a lot of people have tried safely then we can at least assume that this path is pretty much safe. To say don't try anything homebrew relative just to be safe forever is the easiest thing to say to someone. What I am trying to figure out here is with which cases and what actions got most of the people their bans for.
  • A @ ATEMVEGETA:
Most things I can find resulting to a ban is save-editing reasons, like Pokehex, etc, and going online afterwards.
