I hope so. Granted, the latest release of not64 is pretty good, imho. Take Conkers, for instance. It plays really well. Until about 20-30 minutes in. Then it starts to slow down and it'll eventually freeze.

Yeah I mean only improvements can be made but the day resident evil 2 is fully playable will be the day 
It's not the same.
RE2 for the GC is a direct port of the PSX version.
The N64 version had several extras, like the EX Files and control option similar to those of the HD releases of Remake and Zero, extra costumes, etc.
I still dream of a day in which I'll be able to play the N64 version of RE2 in my Wii U without any major issue...

Thank you for understanding why I want to play the N64 version so badly and yeah there was so much difference compared to all other releases there were extra files to read like in gun shop, on bus in the brief case also 1 cartridge and it held entire 2 disc games with extras blood colour choice etc... I know small things but it made it more better

The N64 port of RE2 is my favorite version of the game.
I just hope we can one day play it properly on vWii/Wii U. :/

I think Extrems meant to say that those games listed got affected, not that they were fixed.
Basically, the latest port-specific combiner fixes broke those games in some way, I'm not sure how.

Only thing drive me crazy is all these new horror games nowadays is its so dark, all time. I can't even play them. I understand they trying to create spooky but be creative a little, not just darkness with pop out scare scenes.+1
